4 Forests is another experimental album by Brian Dougans under the alias Part-Sub-Merged from 2007 which was released on The Future Sound of London's digital download website. It is the soundtrack to a short film made by the duo called "Part-Sub-Merged" to be released on FSOLdigital.com at some point in the near future. The music is darker than his "Polemical " work with analogue techno beats and synth ambience. [1] [2]

By Any Other Name is a Future Sound of London compilation release in the same vein as 1992's Earthbeat. The tracks are by Dougans and Cobain and the aliases are the same. This 2007 album, however, has a wealth of new material from the same time period as Earthbeat. The Mental Cube track "Sightings" can be heard in the first episode of "The Day Today" in a skit with Chris Morris reporting on a new police measure to deal with noisy neighbours in which a tiger is set loose in the offending persons home in which the track can be heard. A CD version of the album was released on 13 October 2008.

The San Monta Tapes is a side-project of The Future Sound of London, under the pseudonym Heads of Agreement, described by them as "Experiments in polyrhythmic". It is described as very unmelodic with sparse percussion loops, thus an unusual experiment and departure from the "usual" FSOL sound. In the Freeze magazine interview Cobain suggests that the project is more Brian's work than his.

Hand-Made Devices is an album by The Future Sound of London under the alias Polemical; it is the first album under the pseudonym. The nature of the music is very experimental and is created almost entirely using Brian Dougans' electronic creations, including glitch devices and the like. There are videos on Dougans own YouTube channel ("STAKKERHUMANOID") demonstrating the devices he has made. The website FSOLDigital.com says that all the devices used were modified by the band. The album is available only at their digital download site.

<i>Zeebox 1984–1987 Vol. 2</i> 2007 compilation album by Zeebox

Zeebox 1984–1987 Vol. 2 is part two of a compilation by Brian Dougans under the pseudonym "Zeebox" and released in 2007 from The Future Sound of London's digital download site. The music within was composed between Manchester and Glasgow in the mid-eighties and is very experimental. A third selection of tracks was promised, with the band's digital shop promoting the volume as the second of three, a promo video on YouTube from Dougans' channel ("STAKKERHUMANOID") recently previewed the third installment titled "Zeebox 3 - Heavily Involved In Drugs".

The Woodlands of Old is a 2008 album by the Future Sound of London under the alias of their "engineer" "Yage". It is an electronic record foremost but using more traditional drums and percussion, ex-Propellerheads member Will White contributes drums, along with a number of ethnic sounding instruments, which tie in with the band's description of the album suggesting "the deserts of the middle east to the rain forests of Brazil". A CD version of the album was released on 13 October 2008.

Global is the debut album by Brian Dougans, most famous for being part of the British electronica group The Future Sound of London. Moving away from FSOL's ambient, breakbeat and trip hop styles, it is composed largely of US style vocal house, including Ben Ofoedu, most famous for his work with duo Phats & Small in the 1990s. Also contained is the breakthrough acid house single, "Stakker Humanoid", and industrial track "Sunshine & Brick", featuring FSOL's Gaz Cobain on vocals.

<i>Eurotechno</i> 2003 studio album by Stakker

Eurotechno refers to the musical soundtrack by English group Stakker for their 1989 experimental short film of the same name. The original film was an avant-garde experiment in the audiovisual videola genre and features rapidly shifting colourful computer graphics, reflecting the influence of rave culture. Although the visuals of the film were primarily the work of Stakker members Marek Pytel, Mark McClean and Colin Scott, the musical soundtrack was largely the work of Brian Dougans, later of The Future Sound of London. The 25-minute soundtrack was recorded using a Roland TB-303, and reflects the fast-shifting momentum of the film by incorporating fragmented elements of acid house, Chicago house and Detroit techno that shift after their brief appearances, thus contributing to an intricately layered style.

You Took My Love

You Took My Love is a house track released by FSOL under the alias Candese in 1991, it features a female vocalist singing very spiritedly over a funky acid house beat.

<i>Pulse 2 EP</i> 1991 EP by Indo Tribe/Smart Systems/FSOL

Pulse 2 EP is an EP released by The Future Sound of London partly under the alias' Indo Tribe, Smart Systems and FSOL. The FSOL tracks "Stolen Documents" and "In 8" would later be put on the Accelerator album with "In 8" becoming "1 in 8".
