A. A. Aziz is an Indian politician,belonging to the Revolutionary Socialist Party (RSP). He was a MLA from Eravipuram for the 11th,12th and 13th Niyamasabha,representing Eravipuram. In March 2012 he was unanimously elected secretary of the Kerala State Committee of RSP. [1] [2]
Revolutionary Socialist Party (RSP) is a communist party in India. The party was founded on 19 March 1940 by Tridib Chaudhuri and has its roots in the Bengali liberation movement Anushilan Samiti and the Hindustan Socialist Republican Army.
Revolutionary Socialist Party of Kerala (Bolshevik) is formed as a splinter group from RSP in Kerala in 2001. The party leader at the time of its formation was Baby John,formerly an important RSP leader in Kerala.

Joachim Baxla was a member of the 14th Lok Sabha of India. He represented the Alipurduars constituency of West Bengal and was a member of the Revolutionary Socialist Party (RSP) political party. He won the Alipurduars seat four times in a row. Baxla was denied a ticket by RSP to contest the 15th Lok Sabha. He served as the Vadakkevila Panchayat Vice President,Deputy Mayor of Kollam Municipal Corporation from July 2014 to October 2015. Representing as an CPI(M) candidate from Eravipuram he contested in the 2016 Kerala Legislative Assembly Election and defeated A. A. Aziz,the state secretary of the Revolutionary Socialist Party by a margin of 28,803 votes and became the first CPI(M) MLA from Eravipuram.
