Acantholycosa lignaria is a species of wolf spiders. It is a widespread species of central and northern Europe.
It was described in chapter 5 of the book Svenska Spindlar by the Swedish arachnologist and entomologist Carl Alexander Clerck.
Mason bee is a name now commonly used for species of bees in the genus Osmia, of the family Megachilidae. Mason bees are named for their habit of using mud or other "masonry" products in constructing their nests, which are made in naturally occurring gaps such as between cracks in stones or other small dark cavities. When available, some species preferentially use hollow stems or holes in wood made by wood-boring insects.
Osmia lignaria, commonly known as the orchard mason bee or blue orchard bee, is a megachilid bee that makes nests in reeds and natural holes, creating individual cells for its brood that are separated by mud dividers. Unlike carpenter bees, it cannot drill holes in wood. O. lignaria is a common species used for early spring fruit bloom in Canada and the United States, though a number of other Osmia species are cultured for use in pollination.
Powelliphanta lignaria, known as one of the amber snails, is a species of large, carnivorous land snail, a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusc in the family Rhytididae. The eggs of P. lignaria are oval and seldom constant in dimensions 10 × 8.25, 9 × 7.75, 9 × 8, 8.75 × 7.75 mm.
The carpenter's chimaera, also known as the giant chimaera or the giant purple chimaera, is a species of fish in the family Chimaeridae.
Cytora lignaria is a species of very small land snails with an operculum, terrestrial gastropod molluscs in the family Pupinidae.
Drillia lignaria is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Drilliidae.
Tarantinaea lignaria is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Fasciolariidae, the spindle snails, the tulip snails and their allies.
Acantholycosa sayanensis is a species of wolf spiders found only in the Western Sayan Mountains in Russia.
Acantholycosa plumalis is a species of wolf spider only known from the vicinity of Lake Teletskoye in the Russian part of the Altai Mountains.
Acantholycosa paraplumalis is a species of wolf spider only known from the northern Altai Mountains, Russia.
Acantholycosa baltoroi is a species of wolf spider found in Kashmir, Nepal and China.
Acantholycosa sterneri is a species of wolf spider found in Mongolia and southern Siberia.

The book Svenska Spindlar or Aranei Svecici is one of the major works of the Swedish arachnologist and entomologist Carl Alexander Clerck and was first published in Stockholm in the year 1757. It was the first comprehensive book on the spiders of Sweden and one of the first regional monographs of a group of animals worldwide. The full title of the work is Svenska Spindlar uti sina hufvud-slägter indelte samt under några och sextio särskildte arter beskrefne och med illuminerade figurer uplyste – Aranei Svecici, descriptionibus et figuris æneis illustrati, ad genera subalterna redacti, speciebus ultra LX determinati, and included 162 pages of text and six colour plates. It was published in Swedish, with a Latin translation printed in a slightly smaller font below the Swedish text.
Acantholycosa sundukovi is a species of wolf spiders only known from Primorsky Krai, Russia.
Mongolicosa is a genus of wolf spiders containing eight species found in central Asia from the Altai Mountains east to western Buryatia and south to Xinjiang and the Gobi Desert.
Acantholycosa pedestris is a wolf spider species in the genus Acantholycosa found in Europe. It was first described by Eugène Simon, the French naturalist.
Acantholycosa norvegica is a wolf spider species in the genus Acantholycosa with a Palearctic distribution.
