The 2024 North Carolina gubernatorial election will be held on November 5, 2024, to elect the governor of North Carolina. The winner will succeed Democratic incumbent Roy Cooper, who is term limited. This is the only Democratic-held governorship up for election in 2024 in a state Donald Trump won in 2020.
