Axel Johann Einar Lönnberg was a Swedish zoologist and conservationist. Lönnberg was born in Stockholm. He was head of the Vertebrate Department of the Naturhistoriska Riksmuseet from 1904 to 1933.

Ahamitermes is a genus of termites in the family Termitidae containing four species, all of which have a parasitic relationship with termites in the genus Coptotermes. The host and the parasite dwell in separate parts of the mound nest and are mutually antagonistic. The Ahamitermes live in the innermost parts of the nest and feed on the "carton" material with which the galleries are lined which consists of soil particles, chewed wood and cellulose, bound together with saliva and faeces. They are thus dependent on their host for both their food and their home and are not found in any other situations. The genus was first described in 1920 by Eric Mjöberg.

Thérèse Ekblom (1867-1941) was a Swedish botanical and zoological illustrator. She often collaborated with her husband, Axel Richard Ekblom (1858-1914). Ekblom was born Lovisa Teresia Jansson, in Stockholm, Sweden, to a family of artists. Her father and brothers were scene painters at the Royal Swedish Opera. Ekblom attended the Academy of Art in Stockholm, where she met her husband. They married in 1895 and had five children.
Neobidessodes mjobergi is a carnivorous subterranean water beetle, in the Bidessini tribe of the Dytiscidae family. It was first described in 1922 by Albrecht Zimmermann as Bidessus mjobergi, and reassigned to the genus of Neobidessodes in 2009 by Hendrich and others.
