Air Mantra was a regional airline headquartered in New Delhi, India, [2] that operated domestic flights between July 2012 and April 2013.
Air Mantra was founded in 2011 by Indian conglomerate Religare Group (which had operated an air charter branch in 2006), [3] in order to get a grip on the airline market in northern India. [4] The initial growth plan saw the acquisition of ATR 72 and Bombardier Q400 aircraft. [5]
Revenue flights were launched on 23 July 2012. The initial two daily flights between Chandigarh and Amritsar [6] were operated using a fleet of two Beechcraft-1900 D aircraft. [7] [8] Eight months later, on 31 March 2013, all operations were suspended due to poor bookings, [9] and the company was subsequently liquidated.

Vayudoot was a regional airline in India established on 20 January 1981 as a joint-venture between the two state-owned carriers, Indian Airlines and Air India. The airline was headquartered at New Delhi's Safdarjung Airport. The airline was originally conceived to serve the Northeastern region of India. The regional hub for the Northeast Region was Calcutta (Kolkata), and the airline built up operations to close to 30 destinations in this challenging area. Many of the airfields saw the resumption civil flights and fixed-wing aircraft after a gap of many decades.
CemAir (Pty) Ltd is a privately owned airline operating in South Africa which services popular tourist destinations and important business towns and leases aircraft to other airlines across Africa and the Middle East. The airline is based in Johannesburg. It was forced by the authorities to suspend operations in late 2018. The airline successfully launched a High Court challenge and the grounding was overturned. The CAA then again grounded the Airline in January 2019 and CemAir challenged the decision before the Civil Aviation Appeal Committee. On the 29th of April 2019 the CAAC issued a judgement in favour of the airline calling the CAA's actions "irrational, arbitrary, unreasonable and procedurally unfair." and "factually wrong."
