In 1913–14,his final Test series,he took a world record 49 wickets in a Test series,against South Africa.

Timothy Alan Munton is an English cricketer. His time at Warwickshire was a particularly successful one for the club,winning 6 trophies between 1993 and 1995;as a crucial part of that side,Munton was honoured as one of the five Wisden Cricketers of the Year in 1995.
Frank Edward Woolley was an English professional cricketer who played for Kent County Cricket Club between 1906 and 1938 and for the England cricket team. A genuine all-rounder,Woolley was a left-handed batsman and a left-arm bowler. He was an outstanding fielder close to the wicket and is the only non wicket-keeper to have held over 1,000 catches in a first-class career,whilst his total number of runs scored is the second highest of all time and his total number of wickets taken the 27th highest.

Frederick Martin,also known as Fred Martin and Nutty Martin,was an English professional cricketer who bowled left-arm medium-pace spin. Martin played first-class cricket between 1885 and 1892,primarily for Kent County Cricket Club,and appeared twice in Test matches for the England cricket team. He was considered one of the best left-arm spin bowlers in the country between 1889 and 1891.

Chris Old is a former English cricketer,who played 46 Tests and 32 ODIs from 1972 to 1981. Joseph Liam Denly is an English professional cricketer who plays for Kent County Cricket Club. He is a right-handed batsman and occasional leg break bowler who plays as a top-order batsman. Denly played age group cricket for Kent and began his professional career with the county before moving to Middlesex for three seasons between 2012 and 2014. He won the Professional Cricketers' Association Player of the Year award in 2018 and was named the season's Most Valuable Player.
George Gibson Macaulay was a professional English cricketer who played first-class cricket for Yorkshire County Cricket Club between 1920 and 1935. He played in eight Test matches for England from 1923 to 1933,achieving the rare feat of taking a wicket with his first ball in Test cricket. One of the five Wisden Cricketers of the Year in 1924,he took 1,838 first-class wickets at an average of 17.64 including four hat-tricks.

Victor Henry Douglas Cannings was an English cricketer,cricket coach and colonial police officer. Born in Hampshire in April 1919,Cannings joined the Palestine Police Force in 1938 and spent World War II in its service. After the war he secured a contract in county cricket with Warwickshire,playing first-class cricket for the county from 1947 to 1949,at which point he had fallen out of favour at Warwickshire. He was signed by Hampshire in 1950 and played first-class cricket for the county until 1959,forming a potent bowling partnership with Derek Shackleton. He took 834 wickets for Hampshire,the eighth most taken by any Hampshire player. Following his retirement,Cannings took up numerous coaching roles,most prominently at Eton College,where he spent 24 years.
In cricket,a hat-trick occurs when a bowler takes three wickets from three consecutive deliveries. The deliveries may be interrupted by an over bowled by another bowler from the other end of the pitch or the other team's innings,but must be three consecutive deliveries by the individual bowler in the same match. Only wickets attributed to the bowler count towards a hat-trick;run outs do not count,although they can contribute towards a so-called team hat-trick,which is ostensibly a normal hat-trick except that the three successive deliveries can be wickets from any bowler in the team and with any mode of dismissal.

James Edwin Graham Logan is an English professional cricketer who played for Kent between 2021 and 2023,and Yorkshire between 2018 and 2020.
