Alex Shackell is an American swimmer and 2024 Summer Olympics team member for the United States. [2] Shackell qualified at the 2024 US Olympic Swimming Team Trials where she placed sixth in the 200m freestyle.
Janet Beth Evans is an American former competition swimmer who specialized in distance freestyle events. Evans was a world champion and world record-holder, and won a total of four gold medals at the 1988 and the 1992 Olympics.

She is widely regarded as the greatest female swimmer of all time and one of the greatest Olympians of all time.
