Alexander Warren Hughes is an American singer-songwriter and comedic video creator on YouTube. He is also popular on TikTok and Instagram. [1] [2] [3] [4] He was previously a member and a co-founder [5] of the collaborative TikTok group The Hype House. [6] [7] [8]

Life

Alex Warren was born in Carlsbad, California. [9] He grew up skateboarding and would first share his content to Instagram as early as May 2015. In 2020, Alex Warren became the host of the reality show "AwesomenessTV's Next Influencer" for YouTube. [10]

In April 2021, Netflix announced the start of work on an unscripted series about a Hype House, and Alex Warren became one of the stars of the show. [11] [12]

Warren released his debut original song "One More I Love You" in June 2021. [13] He signed with Atlantic Records in August 2022 and created the Locked In With Alex Warren podcast. [14] [15]

Music career

Early life

Warren's love for music was fostered at a young age. His dad bought him a Fender guitar and introduced him to Coldplay, Linkin Park, and Train, among others.

2021–2023: Career beginnings

Warren released his first single "One More I Love You" about his traumatic childhood experience in 2021. [16] Since then, Warren independently released two more singles, "Screaming Underwater" [17] and "Remember Me Happy". [18]

In 2022 Warren signed a record deal with Atlantic Records. [19] The label debut single, "Headlights", garnered 74M views on TikTok prior to release. [20] [21] [22] Following his debut, Warren released "Chasing Shadows", [23] "Give You Love", [24] [25] "Change Your Mind", [26] "How Could You (Be Ok)" [27] and "Yard Sale". [28]

2024: Commercial success

In February 2024, Warren released "Before You Leave Me". [29] This was followed by "Save You a Seat" in April 2024 [30] and "Carry You Home" on May 31, 2024. [31]

Personal life

Warren has siblings named Lauren, Ashley, and Grant. [32] His dad was diagnosed with terminal cancer twice and passed away from kidney cancer after Warren turned nine. [33] His mother struggled with alcohol addiction, and as a result, Warren had to leave home when he was a teenager. [34] He was homeless and sleeping in his friends’ car for a while. [35] [36]

Warren began a relationship with Instagrammer Kouvr Annon in 2018. [37] [38] The couple got engaged in December 2022. [39] They are now married as of June 22, 2024.

Cole Chase Hudson, known professionally as Huddy, is an American singer, actor, and social media personality, known for co-founding the TikTok collective the Hype House, and popularizing the e-boy fashion style and subculture. A 2020 article in Billboard Magazine rated him as one of the top 10 music influencers on TikTok that year, with over 30 million followers, and one of the most influential people on the platform. He has also been cited by Paper as an important figure in the 2020s pop punk revival.

Thomas Petrou is an American social media personality and entrepreneur of Greek descent, known for his TikTok and YouTube channels. Petrou is a founder of The Hype House, a group of online-content creators and the Hollywood Spanish-style mansion that they reside in together. Thomas also briefly lived in the Team 10 house before being fired for unknown reasons in August 2019. As of August 8, 2022, Petrou has amassed over 1.87 million subscribers on YouTube and 7.9 million followers on TikTok.

Daniela Sörensen, better known by her stage name Daniela Rathana, is a Swedish pop singer. <i>Hype House</i> (TV series) American reality television series

Hype House is an American reality television series, released on Netflix on January 7, 2022. The show follows the lives of each member of the Hype House, a group of content creators who make videos for the social media application TikTok.

Haval Khalil, is a Swedish rapper. He is based in Skarpnäck within the municipality of Stockholm. He broke through with his debut album Inloggad in 2020, an album produced by Manny Flaco. Haval and Manny Flaco released a number of joint singles as Haval & Manny Flaco. The songs on the album receiving great viewing on streaming platform depict a difficult street life with weapons and drugs.

Anna Mae Kelly, known professionally as Mae Stephens, is an English pop singer. She peaked at number 13 on the UK Singles Chart in 2023 with her single "If We Ever Broke Up", which initially gained popularity after being teased on Mae Stephens' TikTok account.

Karar Ali Salem Ramadan, best known by his stage name C.Gambino, was a Swedish masked rapper signed to Warner Music Sweden.

"Praise Jah in the Moonlight" is the debut single by American singer YG Marley. The song was written by Marley alongside his mother Lauryn Hill, and samples his grandfather Bob Marley's 1978 song "Crisis" performed with the Wailers. It charted internationally, reaching the top twenty on the Billboard Global 200 chart. The song also peaked at number one in New Zealand, and reached the top five on the UK Singles Chart. On April 20, 2024, a music video for the song was released on the Lyrical Lemonade YouTube channel. The video was directed by Cole Bennett, and features a cameo by Lauryn Hill.
