Alexander Hvaal (born 25 May 1992) is a professional rallycross driver from Larvik in Vestfold, Norway. He has raced in the European Rallycross Championship since 2012 and the World Rallycross Championship since its inception in 2014.

Rallycross is a form of sprint style automobile racing, held on a closed mixed-surface racing circuit, with modified production or specially built road cars, similar to the World Rally Cars. It is mainly popular in the Nordic countries, the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Great Britain. An inexpensive, entry level type of rallycross is the Swedish folkrace or its Norwegian counterpart, the so-called bilcross. The folkrace is most popular in Finland where it was founded back in the late 1960s. In Europe, rallycross can also refer to racing 1:8 scale off-road radio-controlled buggies.
Alexander Georg Wurz is an Austrian former professional racing driver, driver training expert and businessman. He competed in Formula One from 1997 until 2007, and is also a two-time winner of the Le Mans 24 Hours.

He is a FIA World Rallycross Champion, a two-time DTM champion and a four-time winner of the Race of Champions.

The 2014 FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy was the first edition of the FIA World Rallycross Championship. The season consisted of twelve rounds and started on 3 May with the Portuguese round at Montalegre. The season came to end on 23 November, at San Luis, Argentina.
Andreas Bakkerud is a rallycross driver from Bergen, Norway. He has competed in the FIA Rallycross Supercar class since 2013 in both Euro RX and World RX, and Nitro Rallycross since 2021. He became European Champion in 2021.
Lånkebanen is a road racing circuit situated near Hell in Lånke, Stjørdal, Norway. The venue opened in 1987 as the first asphalt track in the country. It is used for a variety of motorsports, including rallycross, go-kart and motorcycle racing. The venue also features a designated hillclimbing and a motocross track on the slopes below, and a harness racing oval. Lånkebanen is owned by the Norwegian Automobile Federation (NAF).
Hansen Motorsport, which competed under the title Team Peugeot-Hansen as Peugeot's official partner in the motorsport of rallycross, is an auto racing team founded by Swedish racing driver Kenneth Hansen in 1990. The team has been competing in rallycross since its creation. Hansen Motorsport used Citroën cars exclusively from 1993 and switched to Peugeot in 2014. Hansen Motorsport ran Peugeot's entry in the World Rallycross Championship from 2014 to 2017.
