Allopeas micra is a species of small, tropical, air-breathing land snail, a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusk in the family Achatinidae. [1]
The shell is elongated and turreted, thin and translucent. It shows very pronounced striations formed by small, sharp, raised ribs. It is nearly umbilicate, with a long, almost conical spire that ends in an obtuse apex. The shell is composed of 8 whorls that are slightly rounded. The aperture is oval with sharp, well-defined margins, and the columella is straight. The shell exhibits a yellowish-white color. [2]
The distribution of Allopeas micra includes:

Adelopoma is a genus of land snails that have an operculum and a gill, terrestrial gastropod mollusks in the family Diplommatinidae.
Drymaeus is a large genus of medium-sized air-breathing, tropical land snails, terrestrial pulmonate gastropod molluscs in the subfamily Peltellinae of the family Bulimulidae.
Subulina is a genus of small tropical air-breathing land snails, terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusks in the family Achatinidae.
Truncatella is a genus of very small land snails with an operculum, terrestrial gastropod mollusks in the family Truncatellidae. These small and minute snails live on land, very close to seawater. They walk with a strange looping action, and the adults have truncated shells. Many of the species are small enough to be considered micromollusks.
Subulininae is a subfamily of small tropical air-breathing land snails, terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusks in the family Achatinidae.
