Amphicallia bellatrix is a moth of the subfamily Arctiinae first described by Johan Wilhelm Dalman in 1823. It is found in Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia. [1]

The larvae feed on Pinus patula and Crotalaria species. [2]

Johan Wilhelm Dalman

Johan Wilhelm Dalman was a Swedish physician and a naturalist. He first studied at Christiansfeld in Schleswig-Holstein then at the University of Lund and the University of Uppsala. He was mainly interested in entomology and botany. He received his degree in 1816 then his doctorate in 1817 from the University of Uppsala. Dalman became librarian of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, a member of the Academy in 1821, then director of the zoological garden, then demonstrator in botany at the Karolinska Institutet of Stockholm.

Bellatrix Lestrange

Bellatrix Lestrange (née Black) is a fictional character in the Harry Potter book series written by J. K. Rowling. She evolved from an unnamed periphery character in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire into a major antagonist in subsequent novels. In the final instalment of the story, Rowling established her as Lord Voldemort's "last, best lieutenant". Bellatrix was the first female Death Eater introduced in the books, and remained the only woman explicitly identified as such until Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
