Andre Curtis is an American football safeties coach for the Chicago Bears. He was a former linebacker at Virginia Military Institute.
Curtis was a four-year letter winner playing linebacker for the Keydets between 1996 and 1999. [1]
Curtis began his coaching career at his alma mater coaching his former position, linebackers. He was there for four years and would then go on to coach the 2004 and 2005 seasons at Georgia Southern as their defensive ends coach. [2] During his time coaching at the college level Curtis had internships with the New York Jets and Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a part of the NFL's Bill Walsh Minority Coaching Fellowship.
Curtis was a defensive quality control coach for the New York Giants from 2006-2008 coaching under David Merritt who he played under at VMI. [3] With the Giants, Curtis won the Super Bowl.
From 2009 [4] to 2011 Curtis served as the defensive backs/safeties coach for the St. Louis Rams when he went to the team with Steve Spagnuolo. [5] [6]
Once again following Spagnuolo, Curtis went to New Orleans and became the Saints assistant defensive backs coach. [7]
On March 25, 2015 Curtis was hired by the Seahawks organization to be the team's safeties coach. [8] In 2017 he was made the team's defensive backs coach. In 2018 he was promoted to defensive pass game coordinator. He was released by the team after the 2021 season. [9]
On February 10, 2022, it was announced that Curtis was joining the Chicago Bears as their safeties coach. [10]
James Donald Haslett is an American football coach and former linebacker who was most recently the head coach of the Seattle Sea Dragons of the XFL. He played college football for the IUP Crimson Hawks before being drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the second round of the 1979 NFL draft; he went on to be named NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year.
Kerry Tremaine Joseph is an American professional football coach and former player who is the quarterbacks coach for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at McNeese State as a quarterback and was signed by the Cincinnati Bengals as an undrafted free agent in 1996. He later played defensive back for the Seattle Seahawks from 1998 to 2001. Joseph then played in the Canadian Football League (CFL) as a quarterback from 2003 to 2014. He was named the CFL's Most Outstanding Player in 2007 while leading the Saskatchewan Roughriders to victory in the 95th Grey Cup. At the end of the season, he had completed 267 of 459 passes for 4,002 yards and 24 touchdowns. He also led all quarterbacks in the league in rushing with 737 yards on 90 attempts and 13 touchdowns.
Lovie Lee Smith is an American football coach. He has served as the head coach of the Chicago Bears, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Houston Texans of the National Football League (NFL) and the Illinois Fighting Illini. Smith has been to the Super Bowl twice, as the defensive coordinator for the St. Louis Rams in 2001 and head coach for the Bears in 2006.

Stephen Christopher Spagnuolo is an American football coach who is the defensive coordinator for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL). He rejoined Andy Reid in 2019 after being a defensive assistant with him from 1999 to 2006 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He has coached four top-ten defenses as a defensive coordinator in terms of yardage. He has won four Super Bowls as defensive coordinator, one with the New York Giants and three with the Kansas City Chiefs, making him the only coordinator in NFL history to win a Super Bowl with two different franchises. Some historic defenses that Spagnuolo has coached throughout his career include the 2007 New York Giants defense and the 2023 Kansas City Chiefs defense.
Malcolm Jenkins is an American former professional football player who was a safety for 13 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Ohio State Buckeyes, earning consensus All-American honors, and winning the Jim Thorpe Award as a senior. He was selected by the New Orleans Saints in the first round of the 2009 NFL draft and played for the Philadelphia Eagles from 2014 to 2019.
James Edward Willis III is a former American football linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) and a former coach in the NCAA and in the NFL. He was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the fifth round of the 1993 NFL draft. He played college football at Auburn. He played high school football at J.O. Johnson High School in Huntsville, Alabama. He was the defensive assistant/linebackers coach for the New Orleans Saints of the NFL until his termination on January 5, 2017.
