Anthony Michael Jennings (born November 11, 2000) is a Filipino actor. He gained mainstream recognition for his supporting role as Snoop Manansala in the ABS-CBN romantic drama series Can't Buy Me Love with his on-screen partner Maris Racal. [1]

Early life

Anthony Michael Jennings grew up in Barangay Mambugsay, Cauayan, Negros Occidental with his grandparents. His father is British, and his mother is a Filipina. In an article, he describes his childhood years as constantly moving from one house to another due to financial problems. [2] [3] He also stated that he only finished second grade and was not able to learn how to read or write early on. When he was auditioning for a role in a show, he only knew how to read but didn't know how to write yet. He later learned to read and write. [2] [3] [4]

Acting career

Jennings was included in the pool of Star Magic actors and actresses in 2019, alongside Belle Mariano. He started his acting career in the film Hello, Love, Goodbye , and was also included in Love at First Stream and The House Arrest of Us . His first television appearance was on the romantic comedy series Make It with You , but the show was cancelled due to the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic. [2] [3]

After his stint in The Iron Heart , Jennings was cast in Can't Buy Me Love and played the character of Snoop Manansala, the street-smart best friend of Bingo Mariano (Donny Pangilinan) who has a sense of humor. [1]

Jennings was appointed as an endorser of Mang Inasal Pork barbecue alongside Maris Racal. [5] He also has a YouTube channel. [3]
