GMA New Media, Inc. (or NMI) is the digital media and technology arm of GMA Network Inc. which offers interactive applications in the television, mobile, web, marketing and online gaming industry. Its headquarters are located at the GMA Network Center in Quezon City, Philippines.

In 2007, GMA NMI launched GMA News Online (then called gmanews). In the same year, the site won several awards including Best Website in the 9th Philippine Web Awards in 2007 for the Media category. [1]

In late 2011, NMI launched GMANetwork, a one-stop portal that consolidates GMA’s web properties including GMA News Online, GMA Entertainment Website , and IMReady Public Service Portal . It won the Digital Filipino Web Awards for the Television category in 2014. [3]

Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP is a joint venture of NMI (GMA Network Inc.) and Summit Digital which offers entertainment news from the local and international film and television industry.)

Gamespan is a joint venture of GMA New Media and Manila Jockey Club, Inc. [10] Gamspan operates and manages the computer systems owned by Manila Jockey Club and the infrastructure for taking bets in horse racing and other sports. [11]

Martina Eileen Hernandez delas Alas-Sibayan, known professionally as Ai-Ai delas Alas, is a Filipina film and television actress. Delas Alas first gained nationwide recognition for her film Ang Tanging Ina (2003), which became a blockbuster hit. On account of the film's popularity, a television series spin-off was produced, as well as three sequels: Ang Tanging Ina N'yong Lahat (2008), Ang Tanging Ina Mo (2010) and Enteng ng Ina Mo (2011), with delas Alas reprising her role. She also appeared in the comedy film Our Mighty Yaya, which premiered on May 10, 2017, through Regal Entertainment.

AlDub fictional characters

AlDub was a popular pairing in the Philippines which first appeared in the Kalyeserye portion of the "Juan for All, All for Juan" segment of the variety show Eat Bulaga!. They were also called as the "phenomenal love team" due to their rise in popularity after they were accidentally paired on the July 16, 2015 episode of the Problem Solving portion of "Juan for All, All for Juan" which later became the first episode of Kalyeserye. AlDub was derived from a portmanteau of the tandem's character names in Kalyeserye, namely Filipino actor Alden Richards, who portrays a fictionalized version of himself, and Yaya Dub, portrayed by Dubsmash personality and actress Maine Mendoza, who initially does not talk and interacts through lip-syncing.

Top One Project was a Filipino boy band based in the Philippines, originally composed of the grand winners of GMA Network's reality show To the Top — Adrian Pascual, Joshua Jacobe, Louie Pedroso, Mico Cruz, and Miko Manguba. The group signed under GMA's Artist Center and its label GMA Records after winning the competition in 2015. The group released their debut album digitally on April 28, 2016 with their carrier single, "Pag-gising".

GMA Affordabox is a Philippine ISDB-T digital terrestrial television provider owned and operated by GMA New Media, a subsidiary of GMA Network, Inc. The service distributes digital set-top boxes and USB OTG dongles with free-to-air digital TV channels, broadcast markup language, emergency warning broadcast system, functional auto-on alert, digital display, and info display services to select areas in the Philippines.

GTV (Philippine TV network) Philippine free-to-air television network

GTV(Good TV), stylized as Gtv, is a Philippine free-to-air television network owned and operated by the Citynet Network Marketing and Productions Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of GMA Network, Inc. It was launched on February 22, 2021, replacing GMA News TV on its flagship station, UHF Channel 27 Metro Manila and its provincial relay stations. It is a sixth overall secondary television brand of GMA Network since its inception in 1995 as Citynet Television. The network produces programmes from studios located at the GMA Network Center, EDSA corner Timog Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City. The network's primary transmitter facility is located at the GMA Tower of Power site, Tandang Sora, Barangay Culiat, Quezon City and it operates daily from 5:30 a.m. to 12:00 midnight.
