Arizona Mills is an outlet shopping mall in Tempe, Arizona within the Phoenix metropolitan area. It is a tourist destination in Phoenix, Arizona built by the Mills Corporation (which owned 25%) and Taubman Centers. Taubman has since sold its 75% stake to Simon Property Group, which had already purchased the Mills Corporation in 2007. [3] [4] Arizona Mills opened on November 20, 1997, with 6,000 parking spaces and approximately 200 retailers. [5] [6] The mall is divided into six “neighborhoods,” areas of the mall with their own distinct architectural styles and design, with the intention of helping shoppers identify where they are in the mall. [7] The mall is anchored by Old Navy, Off Broadway Shoe Warehouse, American Freight, Forever 21, Harkins Theatres, H&M, IMAX, Legoland Discovery Center, Rainforest Cafe, Sea Life Aquarium, Tilt Studio, Ross Dress for Less, DD's Discounts, Marshalls, Camille La Vie, Conn's, and Burlington Coat Factory. Despite the term 'Mills' in its name, it is not nearby, or affiliated with Mill Avenue, a shopping and entertainment district near Hayden Butte to the north. The name is that of the property developer, the Mills Corporation.
Like other Mills Centers, Arizona Mills has abstract graphics at the entrances and throughout the mall. Numerous artworks are also displayed from the people of Arizona.
In June 2008, the mall's website was changed from its Mills Corporation format to the Simon Malls format along with 16 other sister Simon-Mills malls. It was the last Simon-Mills mall to make the switch. It is one of three malls Simon owns in Arizona, with Phoenix Premium Outlets in Chandler and Tucson Premium outlets as the others. [10] It is the third mall Simon owned in Arizona, previously having owned Southgate Mall in Yuma, Arizona, and Metrocenter Mall in Phoenix, Arizona later acquired by Carlyle Development Group.

With 28 million annual visitors, it is one of the top shopping and tourist destinations in California. It is one of three Mills landmarks in California that are now managed by Simon Property Group since April 2007. Simon owns 50% of it. The Outlets at Orange and The Great Mall are the others. Ontario Mills was designed by the architectural firm, F+A Architects.
The Galleria at Pittsburgh Mills, or simply Pittsburgh Mills, is a super-regional shopping center northeast of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in Frazer Township, along PA Route 28 near its intersection with the Pennsylvania Turnpike. The mall is the second largest shopping complex in Western Pennsylvania, and the main retail center for the Allegheny Valley with 905,667 sq ft (84,139 m2) of retail space on 200 acres (0.8 km2). The grand opening of the mall portion of Pittsburgh Mills was on July 14, 2005.
The Mills Corporation was a publicly traded real estate investment trust headquartered in Chevy Chase, Maryland, United States, acquired on April 3, 2007, by an investment group composed of Simon Property Group and Farallon Capital Management. The company developed, owned, and operated major super-regional shopping malls. The company built 18 "Landmark" centers in which the malls were named after "Mills", like "Vaughan Mills", or "St. Louis Mills"; and also over 20 "21st Century Retail" regional malls that they started operating in 2002, like Del Amo Fashion Center and Southdale Center. Most former Mills facilities have a large movie theater from 10 to 30 screens, and a large food court. Their facilities were normally built in colorful modern/abstract architectural designs, but in recent years have been renovated to more conventional designs with mainly neutral colors. Simon Property Group assumed management of the former Mills properties after the acquisition, and is operating the former "Landmark Mills" group as a separate operating segment within its organization.
Philadelphia Mills is an enclosed shopping mall in Northeast Philadelphia, bordering Bensalem in Bucks County and 15 miles (24 km) from Center City. Formerly named for Benjamin Franklin, the mall is home to 125 stores, a movie theatre, a food court, and seven theme restaurants and was visited by an estimated 18 million people in 2006. The anchor stores are Dave & Buster's, Forever 21, Urban Planet, Saks Fifth Avenue, Marshalls, HomeGoods, American Freight, Walmart, AMC Theatres, Burlington, and Turn 7 Liquidators. Two currently vacant anchor stores once housed Phar-Mor and Modell's Sporting Goods.

Columbus City Center was a 1,250,000 sq ft (116,000 m2), three-level shopping mall in Columbus, Ohio. It was located in the city's downtown, near the Ohio Statehouse, next to the Ohio Theatre, and connected to the Hyatt on Capitol Square hotel. The mall closed and was demolished in 2009. The mall had a large adjacent parking structure attached that remains in use. The parking structure has been joined, directly or via bridge respectively, to two 12 story structures, 250 S. High Street and 80 on the Commons, both of which feature lower level office spaces with residential spaces on the upper floors.
Great Lakes Crossing Outlets, formerly Great Lakes Crossing, is a shopping mall in Auburn Hills, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit, Michigan, United States. The site of the mall was originally to have been occupied by a different mall called Auburn Mills, which was never built due to financial issues of its intended developer, Western Development Corporation. Great Lakes Crossing was built on the site and opened in 1998. Constructed and owned by Taubman Centers, Great Lakes Crossing Outlets is the largest outlet mall in the state of Michigan. It features 185 stores, with anchor stores including Burlington, Primark, Bass Pro Shops, TJ Maxx, Dick's Sporting Goods, and Marshalls; other notable attractions include a 1,000-seat food court, a 25-screen AMC Star movie theater, Round1, Legoland Discovery Center, and Sea Life Michigan.

The Falls is an open-air shopping mall in Kendall, Florida. The mall has 111 upscale stores. The mall's anchor store is Macy's. Bloomingdale's was an anchor at this mall but closed on March 20, 2020, and it was replaced by Life Time Fitness center, which opened on August 4, 2023. This mall also features a movie theater, which is called Regal Entertainment Group, and is currently managed and 50% owned by the Simon Property Group.
Tri-City Pavilions, formerly Tri-City Mall, is a shopping mall in Mesa, Arizona, United States. It was developed in 1968 as an enclosed shopping mall featuring Diamond's and JCPenney as the anchor stores. The mall underwent a period of decline following the opening of Fiesta Mall in 1979, particularly after Diamond's consolidated with its store in that mall in 1984. Despite a mall-wide renovation completed in 1985 and the addition of new tenants such as ZCMI and Bealls, Tri-City Mall continued to diminish throughout the 1990s, with JCPenney closing in 1998. The mall was demolished in 1999 in favor of a strip mall anchored by Safeway Inc., although the former JCPenney building remained until 2006. Tri-City Pavilions is owned and managed by Lamar Companies.

The Mall at Tuttle Crossing is an enclosed shopping mall located in northwest Columbus, Ohio. It has a Dublin, Ohio mailing address, but it is in the Columbus city limits. It was developed by a joint venture of Taubman Centers and the Georgetown Company and opened on July 24, 1997. In 2021, the mall was reported to be heading towards foreclosure. The anchor stores are Macy's, Scene75 Entertainment Center, and JCPenney. There is one vacant store that was once Sears.
Briarwood Mall is a shopping mall in Ann Arbor, Michigan, United States. The mall's three anchor stores are Macy's, JCPenney, and Von Maur. Surrounded by office and other development, the mall anchors the southern Ann Arbor commercial area around Eisenhower Boulevard and I-94. It serves as the primary shopping mall for all of Washtenaw County. As of 2007 Simon Property Group manages and co-owns the mall. Briarwood is considered a Class A mall property by developers based on its sales per square foot. Many restaurants, hotels and stores surround the mall.

Fiesta Mall is a former shopping mall in Mesa, Arizona, United States. Opened in 1979 after nine years of development, it was built by Homart Development Company, the former shopping mall development division of the department store Sears. Sears was the first anchor store to open in the mall, doing so in 1977. Also present as anchor stores were The Broadway and Goldwater's, with Diamond's following in 1980. The mall began experiencing declines in traffic following the opening of Arizona Mills in 1997, and saw numerous anchor store and inline tenancy changes. After a long period of decline, it was shuttered in January 2018.
Gurnee Mills is a shopping mall and outlet mall in Gurnee, Illinois, within the Chicago metropolitan area. Like the nearby Six Flags Great America and Great Wolf Lodge, the mall's placement in Gurnee is intended to bring customers from both Chicago and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. With 1,936,699 square feet (179,925 m2) of gross leasable area and ten major anchor stores in its Z-shaped single-story building, it is the third largest mall in Illinois, and the largest of the four enclosed shopping centers in Lake County. Owned and operated by the Simon Property Group, it was an early part of the "Landmark Mills" chain of shopping malls built by the Mills Corporation. The mall features Round One, Hobby Lobby, Macy's, Kohl's, Marshalls/HomeGoods, Value City Furniture, Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World, 2nd & Charles, Dick's Sporting Goods, The RoomPlace, Marcus Theathers, Top Shelf Ice Arena, Burlington Coat Factory, and Floor & Decor as its anchor tenants. Larger non anchors include: Off Broadway Shoe Warehouse, Forever 21, H&M, and Lee Wrangler Clarence Center. The mall also features the restaurants of Rainforest Cafe and Lola's Tacos & Tequilla. There are three vacant anchor spaces last occupied by Bed Bath & Beyond/Buy Buy Baby, Sears Grand, and Saks Off Fifth.
