The Fashion Mall at Keystone, known better as The Fashion Mall, is an upscale shopping center in the northeast section of the city of Indianapolis, Indiana. The mall is located off I-465 at 86th Street and Keystone Avenue. The mall is considered the heart of the Keystone at the Crossing district. It was developed, managed, and owned by Indianapolis-based Simon Property Group.
The mall is anchored by a Nordstrom. Saks Fifth Avenue closed in July 2024 for redevelopment. Junior anchors include Pottery Barn, The North Face, Apple Store, Urban Outfitters, and Crate & Barrel. The Fashion Mall consists of two two-story buildings. When the mall first opened, they were linked by a glass archway called "The Crossing" that also served as the mall's food court. The archway has since been converted into additional retail space. The mall offers 123 specialty shops and restaurants. Over 40% of the stores in the mall have their sole location in the state of Indiana there. About 97% of the store's retail area was in use at the end of 2006. [3]
Sometimes the area is called Keystone/Clearwater, which refers to the large neighboring Clearwater Crossing mixed-use development named after the nearby Lake Clearwater.
Parisian's parent company, Saks Incorporated, sold the entire chain of stores to Belk. Belk thus sold the location to Nordstrom. In summer 2007, the store was renovated and reopened as the state's second Nordstrom location. [4] The process was similar to Saks Fifth Avenue's renovation and replacement of Jacobson's old store in 2002.
The Fashion Mall had its original incarnation in the early 1970s as a small luxury mall of 50,000 square feet (4,600 m2). The Fashion Mall was adjacent to its companion shopping center called The Bazaar, a building of labyrinthine corridors housing family-run stores. The Fashion Mall underwent several renovations and expansions over the years, and The Bazaar was eventually demolished to make way for the growing shopping center. Over the years, numerous retail centers and stand-alone restaurants have been built both in the mixed-use development where the Fashion Mall is located and all along the 86th Street corridor. The Fashion Mall/Clearwater Crossing area now provides a continuous retail corridor which merges with the Castleton Square Mall shopping area located almost 3 miles (4.8 km) to the east. The Fashion Mall has become a regional high-end shopping destination, standing two stories high and covering 680,000 square feet (63,000 m2) in two separate buildings. The buildings are connected by an archway called "The Crossing" which served as the complex's food court until renovations in 2011-2012. The food court was moved to new space immediately to the west. The Fashion Mall has had many retailers in its past. Its old anchor, Jacobson's, was the only store located in the state of Indiana. It was replaced by Saks Fifth Avenue in 2003, which is also the only store in the state. [6] Parisian at The Fashion Mall, which is one of two stores (the other location at Circle Centre was rebranded as Carson Pirie Scott & Company) in the state, was converted to Nordstrom in fall of 2008, now the only such store in the state, following the closure of the Circle Centre Mall store in 2011.
Crate & Barrel opened in late 2005, and Tiffany & Co. opened in 2006. The mall had $586 of sales per square foot in 2005. [7]
On April 4, 2024, it was announced that Saks Fifth Avenue would close [8] in July 2024. Simon Property Group plans to demolish the store and redevelop the site with a 100,000-square-foot (9,300 m2) office building called One Keystone Crossing that is scheduled to open in 2026. [9]
The Galleria, stylized theGalleria and also known as the Houston Galleria, is an upscale mixed-use urban development and shopping mall located in the Uptown District of Houston, Texas, United States. The development consists of a retail complex, as well as the Galleria Office Towers complex, two Westin hotels, and a private health club. The office towers and hotels are separately owned and managed from the mall. It features Macy's, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, and Saks Fifth Avenue.

Stanford Shopping Center is an upscale open air shopping mall located on Route 82 at Sand Hill Road in Palo Alto, California. It is on the campus of Stanford University although the university only owns the land and not the actual buildings or stores. Also, unlike the main academic campus, the shopping center and the neighboring Stanford University Medical Center are part of the city of Palo Alto, not the census-designated place (CDP) of Stanford, California. The shopping center buildings are 94.4% owned by Simon Property Group, which manages the property and leases the land from the university.
The Florida Mall is a super regional enclosed shopping mall located south of Orlando in unincorporated Orange County, Florida, United States, on the southeast corner of Orange Blossom Trail and Sand Lake Road; it opened in 1986. The mall features JCPenney, Dillard's, Macy's, Dick's Sporting Goods, and Sears, in addition to the Crayola Experience.
Parisian Inc. was an American chain of upmarket department stores founded and headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama. Competing mainly through the 1980s against Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, and Gus Mayer, Parisian underwent a series of restructurings and mergers during its 130-year history, and was taken over by Proffitt’s, Inc. in 1996. In September 2006, Belk purchased Parisian from Saks for $285 million with twenty-four locations later becoming Belk by September 2007. Parisian was quickly sold once more in October 2006 to The Bon-Ton with stores operating in Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio. Parisian operated individually under its own separate division until 2013 when the exclusive rights to operate Parisian had expired, marking the end of this upmarket department store.

The Galleria Dallas is a shopping mall and mixed-use development located at the intersection of Interstate 635 and the Dallas North Tollway in the North Dallas neighborhood of Dallas, Texas, United States. It was originally developed by Hines Interests Limited Partnership in 1982. It was modeled after a similar Hines development, the Houston Galleria, which opened in 1970. Both have ice rinks and a glass vaulted ceiling that is modeled after the historic Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan, Italy. It features Macy's and Nordstrom.

Dadeland Mall is a large enclosed shopping mall located in Kendall, Florida, in the Dadeland district. The Shoppes at Bel Air, formerly Bel Air Mall, is a super-regional shopping mall, located in Mobile, Alabama, United States. The mall has a gross leasable area of 1,345,000 sq ft (125,000 m2). It is the oldest continuously operating enclosed super-regional mall in Alabama and serves as one of the primary retail venues for the west Mobile shopping district located at the vicinity of Airport Boulevard and Interstate 65.
