Peter John Ramos Fuentes is a Puerto Rican professional basketball player for the San Miguel Alab Pilipinas of the ASEAN Basketball League (ABL). He is the sixth player from Puerto Rico to play in an NBA game and the third Puerto Rican drafted in the NBA draft. Ramos has played in the National Basketball Association, the NBA Development League, the Chinese Basketball Association and the Philippine Basketball Association. Ramos has been a member of the Puerto Rican national basketball team since 2004. He was a member of the 2004 Puerto Rican national team that defeated the United States in the 2004 Olympic Games. Ramos was selected as a NBDL All Star and earned All-NBA Development League Honorable Mention during the 2006–07 season.

Puerto Rican Spanish is the Spanish language as characteristically spoken in Puerto Rico and by millions of people of Puerto Rican descent living in the United States and elsewhere. Puerto Ricans have both immigrated and migrated to New York City. As a result, the majority of the African peoples who entered Puerto Rico were part of the forced migration of the Atlantic slave trade, and came from many different cultures and peoples of the African continent.

A piragua [piˈɾa.ɣwa] is a Puerto Rican shaved ice dessert, shaped like a pyramid, consisting of shaved ice and covered with fruit-flavored syrup. Piraguas are sold by vendors, known as piragüeros, from small colorful pushcarts. Besides Puerto Rico, piraguas can be found in mainland areas of the United States that have large Puerto Rican communities, such as New York and Central Florida.
Puerto Rican citizenship was first legislated by the United States Congress in Article 7 of the Foraker Act of 1900 and later recognized in the Constitution of Puerto Rico. Large-scale Chinese immigration to Puerto Rico and the Caribbean began during the 19th century. Chinese immigrants had to face different obstacles that prohibited or restricted their entry in Puerto Rico.
The recorded history of women in Puerto Rico can trace its roots back to the era of the Taíno, the indigenous people of the Caribbean, who inhabited the island that they called "Boriken" before the arrival of Spaniards. During the Spanish colonization the cultures and customs of the Taíno, Spanish, African and women from non-Hispanic European countries blended into what became the culture and customs of Puerto Rico.
Stephanie Marie Del Valle Díaz is a Puerto Rican musician, model, and beauty queen who was crowned Miss World 2016 in Washington, D.C., United States. Miss World 2015, Mireia Lalaguna of Spain crowned her at the end of the event. She is the second Miss World from Puerto Rico. She previously won Miss Mundo de Puerto Rico 2016.
