Athletics at the All-Africa University Games

The athletics competition at the All-Africa University Games has featured at all editions since the first in 1975. It was set for a tenth edition in 2020, but this was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. [1] The competition has an upper age limit of 25 years and only formal university students may compete. [2]

Contents

The competition began with two events in the 1970s before having a relaunch in 2004. A reduced programme of only men's events were held during the 2004 edition. [3]

The Northeastern Huskies men's ice hockey team is an NCAA Division I college ice hockey program that represents Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. All-Africa University Games

The All-Africa University Games is a regional multi-sport event representing Africa, organized for university athletes by the African University Sports Federation (FASU). The games were first held in 1975 in Accra, Ghana.

Kwasi Anin-Yeboah is a Ghanaian lawyer and the current Chief Justice of Ghana. In December 2019, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo nominated Justice Anin-Yeboah as the Chief Justice of Ghana.

The athletics competition at the West African University Games has featured at all editions since the first in 1965. the most recent edition of the competition was the 14th, held in 2018.

James Van Leuven Mensah Ghanaian Politician, Accountant and Banker

James Van Leuven Mensah was a Ghanaian accountant, public servant, banker, and politician. He was born at Kengen, Ghana to Joseph Mensah and Yanke Adela 8 February 1937. His father was a Catchiest from Nkroful. After settling at Kengen, Joseph named his son after a Dutch missionary he worked with, Fr. Van Leuven, at the local Saint Mary's Catholic Church.

The Ife National Museum is a museum located in Osun State, Nigeria. The museum is dedicated to exhibiting objects from Ancient Ife, some of these objects are made of terracotta or bronze. The museum is administered by the National Commission for Museums and Monuments of Nigeria.
