Badminton Association of Thailand (BAT, Thai : สมาคมแบดมินตันแห่งประเทศไทย), officially known as Badminton Association of Thailand Under Royal Patronage of His Majesty the King (Thai : สมาคมแบดมินตันแห่งประเทศไทย ในพระบรมราชูปถัมภ์) is the national governing body for the sport of badminton in Thailand. As of January 2019, there are 52 affiliated clubs and 304 associate member clubs across the country. [2]
The association was founded by four badminton enthusiasts in Thailand in 1950 and joined the International Badminton Federation a year later. [3] It was awarded royal patronage in 1954 by King Bhumibol Adulyadej, who was also an avid badminton player. [4] Long time support and contributions from the king was honored by Badminton World Federation in 2012 when former president Kang Young Joong awarded BWF President's Medal to the king. [5]

The Football Association of Thailand, under the Patronage of His Majesty the King, or FA Thailand for short, is the governing body of association football, futsal and beach soccer in Thailand. It was founded on 25 April 1916. The association joined FIFA on 23 June 1925 and AFC in 1954.
Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya is a Thai princess and the only daughter of King Vajiralongkorn by his former consort Sujarinee Vivacharawongse. She is also the only one of their children in the line of succession and to bear royal titles. She has produced works as a fashion designer, and competed in sports as an equestrian and badminton player.
The Radio Amateur Society of Thailand under The Royal Patronage of His Majesty The King (RAST) is a national non-profit organization for amateur radio enthusiasts in Thailand. The organization is founded under the royal patronage of the King of Thailand, and qualifies as a charitable entity pursuant to a Thai Ministry of Finance declaration. The organization was founded on August 22, 1963, by a group of amateur radio operators who met at a restaurant in Bangkok. Among the first orders of business was to address official objections to the communications of radio amateurs in Thailand with amateur radio operators in other countries. The RAST represents the interests of Thai amateur radio operators and shortwave listeners before Thai and international telecommunications regulatory authorities. RAST is the national member society representing Thailand in the International Amateur Radio Union.
The National Olympic Committee of Thailand under the Royal Patronage of His Majesty the King is the national Olympic committee in Thailand for the Olympic Games movement, based in Ampawan House, Bangkok, Thailand. It is a non-profit organisation that selects teams and raises funds to send Thailand competitors to Olympic events organised by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), Asian Games events organised by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) and Southeast Asian Games events organised by the Southeast Asian Games Federation (SEAGF).
The Lawn Tennis Association of Thailand (LTAT) is the national governing body of tennis in Thailand, formed in 1926 it is one of the oldest organised sports governing body in Thailand. The main aims of the organisation is to develop international level tennis players, improve the infrastructure for tennis and to popularise it in Thailand.

Thailand Amateur League, commonly known as the TA, is the fifth level of Thai football organised by Thai League Co., Ltd. It was started in 2017 by an idea from Police General Somyot Poompanmoung, the president of Football Association of Thailand to improve all Thai Amateur clubs to be better and allowing other clubs which are in other regions chances to play in national FA tournament. In 2017, the tournament was divided into 12 regions and participated by 119 clubs which are former members Football Division 3, and debutants in the season. As the tournament is considered as the lowest level of Thai football, so the number of participants is unlimited as well as any club is able to send an application to participate in the tournament. In 2016, the Football Division 3 became a trophy for the Thailand Amateur League.
The 2017 Thailand Masters Grand Prix Gold was the third Grand Prix's badminton tournament of the 2017 BWF Grand Prix Gold and Grand Prix. The tournament was held at the Nimibutr Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on February 7–12, 2017 and had a total purse of $120,000.
The 2017 Annual King's Cup Football Tournament, commonly referred to as 2017 King's Cup, was the 45th King's Cup, the annual international men's football tournament organised by Football Association of Thailand. It was held in Bangkok, Thailand, from 14 to 16 July 2017.
Kantaphon Wangcharoen is a Thai badminton player. At the young age, Wangcharoen became the runner-up in the senior tournament 2014 Singapore International in the men's singles event after losing the match because of foot injury. Wangcharoen clinched the bronze medal at the World Junior Championships in the boys' singles event, also part of the junior team that won the mixed team bronze in 2014 and 2016, and Asian mixed team bronze in 2016.

It is accredited by the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) which is the governing body for the sport of Athletics in the world, and the National Olympic Committee of Thailand (NOCT). It founded in 1948.
Khunying Patama Leeswadtrakul is a Thai businesswoman, and sports administrator. She is the chairperson of Arnoma Grand in Pathum Wan, Bangkok, and Felix River Kwai in Kanchanaburi, and managing director of GSTEL. She is also a senior expert director of Thailand Institute of Justice, and Office of Contemporary Art and Culture in National Council for Peace and Order era. As sports administrator, She is a member of the International Olympic Committee, a deputy president of Badminton World Federation, an executive member of Olympic Council of Asia and National Olympic Committee of Thailand, and the president of Badminton Association of Thailand Under Royal Patronage of His Majesty the King.
Khunakorn Sudhisodhi is the Thai badminton player. He competed at the 1996 and 2000 Summer Olympics. He won the men's doubles title at the National Championships in 1996, 1998 and 2000; and in the mixed doubles event he clinched six times National title consecutively from 1997-2002. Sudhisodhi was the silver medalists at the 2002 Asian Games and Asian Championships in the mixed doubles event partnered with Saralee Thungthongkam.
The Royal Turf Club of Thailand under Royal Patronage is a sports club in Thailand, formerly located at its historic horse racing venue in Bangkok, which was commonly known as the Nang Loeng Racecourse (สนามม้านางเลิ้ง). It was founded in 1916 by a group of aristocrats as an alternative to the Royal Bangkok Sports Club, and became highly popular during the first half of the twentieth century. Horse racing in Thailand declined in popularity towards the end of the twentieth century, and the Royal Turf Club likewise saw large falls in spectator numbers. Nevertheless, it continued to hold races every other Sunday, until its land lease was terminated by the Crown Property Bureau in 2018 and the site redeveloped into King Rama IX Memorial Park. The club was long known as a site of business and political networking among the elite, especially senior military figures.
The Thailand E-Sports Federation, previously known as the Thai E-Sports Association (สมาคมไทยอีสปอร์ต), is a Thai body established to manage e-sports in Thailand. It is recognised by the Sports Authority of Thailand and is a member of the International e-Sports Federation.
The Myanmar national badminton team represents Myanmar in international badminton team competitions. The best result for both men and women's team was a third place finish at the 1979 and 1995 Southeast Asian Games. The men's team was selected to take part in the 1976 Thomas Cup but failed to qualify into the first round.

The Takraw Association of Thailand is the national governing body for sepaktakraw in Thailand, officially found on 17 April 1983. The roles of the TAT include organizing sepaktakraw competitions in Thailand, supporting and co-ordinating sepaktakraw clubs, and managing the Thai sepaktakraw teams, organizing the domestic tournaments, Takraw Thailand League as well as the most prestigious sepaktakraw international tournament, King's Cup Sepaktakraw World Championship, which was held every year. Furthermore, in cooperation with the sepaktakraw association of Malaysia, Myanmar and Singapore, the TAT also created the standardize rules and regulations for sepaktakraw to promote and develop its growth at the international level.
The Cambodia national badminton team represents Cambodia in international badminton team competitions. It is controlled by the Cambodia Badminton Federation. Cambodia have never competed in any BWF organized team tournaments.
