Prem Aamar is a 2009 Bengali coming-of-age romantic action drama film directed by Raj Chakraborty. It stars Soham Chakraborty and Payel Sarkar, and was released on 9 October 2009. It is a remake of the Tamil-Telugu bilingual blockbuster film 7G Rainbow Colony.

Challenge 2 is a 2012 Indian Bengali-language action thriller film directed by Raja Chanda. Produced by Shrikant Mohta under the banner of Shree Venkatesh Films, the story, screenplay and dialogues of the film were written by N. K. Salil, which itself was inspired from German film Good Bye, Lenin! (2003). It stars Dev, Puja Banerjee, Tapas Paul, Ashish Vidyarthi and in lead roles, alongside, Rajatava Dutta, Kharaj Mukherjee, Subhasish Mukherjee and Kaushik Chakraborty in another pivotal roles, with Biswanath Basu and Labani Sarkar in guest appearances. The film is a spiritual sequel to the 2009 film Challenge, but contains a very different storyline. It revolves around an undercover officer as well as IPS Abhiraj Roy, who is on a mission to bring down the dreaded don Guru Nayak. But all on a sudden tragically he transforms into an MLA to fulfill his father's wish, who was in coma after meeting an conspiring accident as he was an honest and celebrated politician amongst the masses.
Bojhena Shey Bojhena is a 2012 Indian Bengali romantic drama film by Raj Chakraborty and produced by Shree Venkatesh Films. The film illustrates two love stories – with Soham Chakraborty & Mimi Chakraborty playing the characters in one of the stories and Abir Chatterjee & Payel Sarkar playing the other along with two buses – which join in the climax. The film was initially titled Prem Amar 2 but eventually the director changed the name because of the entry of two new characters and a different storyline. The film's music is by debutante Arindam Chatterjee. The film's theatrical trailer was unveiled on the film's official YouTube channel on 8 December 2012. This film is a remake of Tamil film named Engaeyum Eppothum released in 2011.

Byomkesh was a 2014 Indian Bengali crime fiction television series based on the Bengali sleuth Byomkesh Bakshi created by Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay. This was because Shudhu Tomari Jonyo was a remake of the 2013 Tamil movie Raja Rani which was an unofficial adaptation of the 2007 Kannada movie Milana.
