Anandalok Puraskar or Anandalok Awards ceremony is an award ceremony for Bengali film in India. The Anandalok, only film magazine in Bengali language, published from Ananda Publishers and Ananda Bazar Patrika presents this award (Puraskar). The magazine was started on 25 January 1975 and the awards ceremony was started in 1998.

The movie is a remake of the 1999 Telugu film Thammudu which was based on the 1992 Hindi movie Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar which in turn was inspired by the 1979 American movie Breaking Away.

The film follows Ronny, an innocent child living with his father and growing up in foreign, often misses his dead mother Meena. After getting invited in India on the occasion of a marriage ceremony of his mother's cousin in India, he meets his maternal aunt Reena, who resembles his mother as they were the twins. Then Ronny thinks Reena to be his mother and wants his father to marry her. The film was a remake of the Telugu film Santosham and the Tamil film Unnai Thedi.

Amanush is a 2010 Indian Bengali-language action thriller film written and directed by Rajib Biswas, starring Soham Chakraborty and Srabanti Chatterjee in lead roles, whilst newcomer Rehaan Roy, Saswata Chatterjee play supporting roles. The film is officially a remake of the 2003 film Kaadhal Kondein starring Dhanush and Sonia Agarwal. This film was already remade in Bangladesh as Onno Manush in 2004.

But all of a sudden to save his family from a notorious criminal named Kedarnath, he has to reveal his true identity from the past, of a dreaded gangster named Guru, which was hidden to his family as well as people of the area, to whom he was known to be a normal and frightened person.

At last, Raja looks into the real incident and seeks out of revenge for all that happened to him.

The show is produced by Snehasish Chakraborty of Blues Productions and stars Debasree Roy, Kushal Chakraborty and Sanghamitra Talukdar. This show marked the comeback of Debashree Roy in the television industry after 25 years. The show went off air on 14 May 2022 due to low viewership and was replaced by Khelna Bari.
