Barnumton is an unincorporated community in western Camden County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. [1]

The community is on Missouri Route 7 approximately six miles east of Climax Springs. The Osage River and Lake of the Ozarks are about four miles to the north. [2]

History

A post office called Barnumton was established in 1867, and remained in operation until 1956. [3] The community's name honors a Barnum family of settlers. [4]

Boydsville is an unincorporated community in western Callaway County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. The community is in the Mark Twain National Forest 1.5 miles east of Cedar Creek and Fulton is approximately eight miles to the east-northeast.

Guthrie is an unincorporated community in western Callaway County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. The community lies at the intersection of Missouri routes J and Y. New Bloomfield lies two miles south on Route J and the Pine Ridge Recreation Area of the Mark Twain National Forest along Cedar Creek is four miles east on Route Y.

Upalika is an extinct town in southwest Wayne County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. The GNIS classifies it as a populated place. The community is on County Road 426 five miles southwest of Williamsville and 5.5 miles east of Ellsinore in adjacent Carter County.
