Be Right Here is the eighth studio album by American rock band Blackberry Smoke, released on February 16, 2024, through 3 Legged Records. It was produced by Dave Cobb and received acclaim from critics. It is the final album with drummer and band co-founder Brit Turner, who died on March 3, 2024.

Be Right Here received a score of 84 out of 100 on review aggregator Metacritic based on four critics' reviews, indicating "universal acclaim". [1] Uncut felt that "when approached on its own merits, the Dave Cobb-produced Be Right Here is a minor classic of the genre". [4] Stephen Thomas Erlewine of AllMusic wrote that the band "don't attempt any new tracks on Be Right Here, their eighth studio album. Settling into a Dixie-fried groove created from equal parts soul and album rock, Blackberry Smoke still sound recognizably Southern, but they're not adhering to the gospel of Skynyrd and the Allmans as closely as they once did". Classic Rock 's Philip Wilding stated that the album "retains the simple formula that has made the band such a success: songs, tons of songs. Regular co-writers, a band unafraid to experiment, surprising tones and textures, but the fundamentals are intact; listen to a tune, and three minutes later you're whistling the damn melody and mangling the lyrics". [3] Jim Hynes of Glide Magazine wrote that "the band sounds loose as they dig into some serious issues, but rest assured that their classic anthems are still present, though the album goes far beyond mere toe tapping or foot stomping". Parachutes is the debut studio album by British rock band Coldplay. It was released on 10 July 2000 by Parlophone in the United Kingdom. The album was produced by the band and British record producer Ken Nelson, except for one track, "High Speed", which was produced by Chris Allison. Parachutes spawned the singles "Shiver", "Yellow", and "Trouble", with a limited European release of "Don't Panic". The album was also supported by the Parachutes Tour, which saw the band performing 131 shows in their first world tour.
Permission to Land is the debut studio album by the British glam rock band The Darkness, released on 7 July 2003 in the UK and 16 September 2003 in the US. Blackberry Smoke is an American country rock band formed in Atlanta, Georgia, in 2000. The lineup consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Charlie Starr, lead guitarist Paul Jackson, bassist Richard Turner and keyboardist Brandon Still. Richard's brother Brit Turner was the band's drummer before his death in March 2024. In 2018, they added touring members, guitarist Benji Shanks and percussionist Preston Holcomb. They have released eight studio albums, two live albums and five extended plays.

The Best of Nickelback Volume 1 is a compilation album by Canadian rock band Nickelback. It was released on November 4, 2013, through Roadrunner Records (internationally) and Universal Music Canada to coincide with their October–November 2013 "The Hits Tour". Though frontman Chad Kroeger had previously stated in an interview that their upcoming greatest hits album would include new songs as well as previous hits, the final track listing contains only previously released material. The compilation features singles released from all but the first two studio albums from the band; Silver Side Up (2001), The Long Road (2003), All the Right Reasons (2005), Dark Horse (2008), and Here and Now (2011).

The Purple Album is the twelfth studio album by British hard rock band Whitesnake. It contains remakes of songs from Deep Purple band lineups Mark III and Mark IV, when Whitesnake lead singer David Coverdale was a member of that band. It was released on 29 April in Japan, 15 May in Europe, 18 May in the UK and 19 May 2015 in the US through Frontiers Records. On 8 September 2023, Whitesnake and RHINO reissued The Purple Album: Special Gold Edition in celebration of Coverdale's 50th anniversary of joining the Deep Purple, besides remixing and remastering, "features previously unreleased recordings, including the very demo that secured Coverdale's spot with Deep Purple".
