Bengkalis Regency is a regency of Indonesia in Riau Province. The regency was originally established in 1956 and then included most of the northern part of the province, but on 4 October 1999 it was divided up, with most of the territory being split off to form the new Rokan Hilir Regency, Siak Regency and the city of Dumai. On 19 December 2008 a further five districts were removed to create the new Meranti Islands Regency, leaving eight districts in the Bengkalis Regency. These eight districts has increased since 2010 to eleven by the splitting of existing districts on the Sumatran mainland.
Pamekasan Regency is a regency (kabupaten) of the province of East Java, Indonesia. It is located on Madura Island approximately 120 kilometres (75 mi) east of Surabaya, the provincial capital. The regency covers an area of 792.30 square kilometres (305.91 sq mi), and at the 2010 census it had a population of 795,918 ; at the 2020 census the total was 850,057 and the official estimate as of mid-2023 was 882,837 – comprising 431,891 males and 450,946 females. The administrative capital is the town of Pamekasan.
Bangka Regency is a regency (kabupaten) of Bangka Belitung Islands, Indonesia. It covers an area of 3,016.85 km2 in the northeast of Bangka Island, and had a population of 277,204 at the 2010 Census rising to 326,265 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 334,344 - comprising 172,248 males and 162,096 females. The coastal town of Sungailiat is its regency seat.
Bintan Regency is an administrative area in the Riau Islands Province of Indonesia. Bintan Regency includes all of Bintan Island and also includes many outlying islands including the Tambelan Archipelago and Badas Islands situated between Bintan and West Kalimantan; altogether there are 273 islands comprising the regency.
Banjarnegara is an inland regency in the southwestern part of Central Java province in Indonesia. The regency covers an area of 1,069.73 km2, and it had a population of 868,913 at the 2010 Census and 1,017,767 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 1,047,226. Its capital is the town of Banjarnegara.
Southwest Aceh Regency is a regency in the Aceh Province of Indonesia. The regency was created on 10 April 2002 from the northwestern districts of South Aceh Regency. It is located on the west side of the island of Sumatra. The regency covers an area of 1,882.99 square kilometres and according to the 2010 census had a population of 126,036; this rose to 140,366 at the 2015 Census, and to 150,775 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 156,990. The seat of the regency government is the town of Blangpidie.
West Kutai Regency is a regency (kabupaten) in the Indonesian province of East Kalimantan. It previously covered a much greater area, with a population of 165,091 at the 2010 Census, but on 11 January 2013 the five northernmost districts were split off to form a new Mahakam Ulu Regency; the residual area of West Kutai Regency is 20,384.6 km2, and it had a population of 140,097 at the 2010 Census, and 165,938 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 177,007. The town of Sendawar is the administrative capital.
Nias Regency is a regency in North Sumatra province, Indonesia; it lies on the east side of Nias Island. The regency originally covered the entire island, but was reduced to the northern half, with an area of 3,495.39 square kilometres, following the creation of the new regency of Nias Selatan on 25 February 2003. It was further reduced by the creation of the new regencies of North Nias and West Nias and the independent municipality of Gunungsitoli from other parts of Nias Regency on 29 October 2008. Since the separation of the new regencies and municipality, the reduced Regency now covers 853.44 km2 of land in the eastern part of the island, and had a population of 131,377 at the 2010 Census and 146,672 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 146,895. Its seat is the town of Gido.
Tanjungpandan, also colloquially written as Tanjung Pandan, is the largest town on the island of Belitung in the Indonesian province of Bangka Belitung Islands. Tanjungpandan is the capital of the Belitung Regency comprising one of the five districts (kecamatan) within that Regency. It covers an area of 378.45 km2 and had a population of 86,487 at the 2010 Census and 103,062 at the 2020 Census.
West Bangka Regency is a regency (kabupaten) of Bangka Belitung Islands Province, Indonesia. It comprises the northwestern part of Bangka Island, together with a number of small islands off its coast. The regency covers an area of 2,820.61 km2 and had a population of 175,110 at the 2010 Census, rising to 204,612 at the 2020 census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 209,791 - comprising 108,102 males and 101,689 females. The town of Muntok is its regency seat.
South Bangka Regency is a regency (kabupaten) of Bangka Belitung Islands Province, Indonesia, with the town of Toboali as its regency seat. It also includes several small islands off the coast of Bangka in the Gaspar Strait, such as Lepar and Pongok. The regency covers an area of 3,607.08 km2 and had a population of 172,476 at the 2010 Census and 198,189 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 202,263.

It covers an area of 2,155.77 km2 and had a population of 161,075 at the 2010 Census, rising to 198,946 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 205,510 - comprising 106,340 males and 99,170 females. The town of Koba is its regency seat.
East Belitung Regency is a regency (kabupaten) of Bangka Belitung Islands Province, Indonesia, encompassing the eastern half of Belitung Island. It covers an area of 2,506.91 km2 and had a population of 106,463 at the 2010 Census and 127,018 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 130,463 - comprising 67,145 males and 63,318 females. Its regency seat is the town of Manggar.
Mamuju Regency is a regency of West Sulawesi province, Indonesia. The regency capital is at Karema, while Mamuju town is the capital of West Sulawesi. The population of the regency was 336,879 at the 2010 Census, but it was substantially reduced by the creation of the new Central Mamuju Regency which was cut out of it on 14 December 2012. The reduced Mamuju Regency covers an area of 4,979.89 km2 and had a population of 278,764 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 292,395.
Mamberamo Raya Regency or Greater Mamberamo Regency is one of the regencies (kabupaten) in Papua Province, Indonesia. Tt was created on 15 March 2007 from parts of Sarmi Regency and Waropen Regency. The regency gets its name from the Mamberamo River. The largest regency by land in Papua province, It covers an area of 23,813.91 km2, but had a population of only 18,365 at the 2010 Census which had almost doubled to 36,483 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 38,636. The administrative centre is at the town of Burmeso in Mamberamo Tengah.
Bima Regency is a regency of the Indonesian Province of West Nusa Tenggara. It is located on the island of Sumbawa and the capital is Woha. The Regency covers an area of 4,389.40 km2, and had a population of 438,522 at the 2010 Census and 514,105 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 535,530. It administratively excludes but geographically completely surrounds Bima City on the landward side.
Meranti Islands is an archipelago, most of which forms a regency (kabupaten) of Riau Province and lies off the eastern coast of the island of Sumatra, Indonesia. It was created on 19 December 2008 by the separating of these large islands from the mainly mainland regency of Bengkalis. The regency comprises the islands of Tebing Tinggi, Rangsang, Padang, and Merbau, together with minor offshore islands, but does not include Bengkalis Island to the north, which is geographically part of the archipelago but remains within Bengkalis Regency. The principal town is Selat Panjang on Tebing Tinggi Island. The regency covers an area of 4,769.53 km2 and had a population of 176,290 at the 2010 Census and 206,116 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as of mid-2023 was 211,611.
Sukamara Regency is one of the thirteen regencies which comprise the Central Kalimantan Province on the island of Kalimantan (Borneo), Indonesia. It was created on 10 April 2002 from the former southwest part of West Kotawaringin Regency. The town of Padang contains the administrative centre of Sukamara Regency, and had a population of 6,555 in mid 2023. The Regency covers an area of 3,827 km2, and had a population of 44,952 at the 2010 Census and 63,464 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 63,039.
Konawe Islands Regency is an insular regency in the province of Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia, established on 15 May 2013 from that former insular part of Konawe Regency which consisted of the seven districts comprising Wawonii Island. It covers an area of 867.58 km2, and had a population of 28,944 at the 2010 Census and 37,050 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 41,520. The administrative centre lies at the town of Langara.
Banggai Sea Regency is a regency in the province of Central Sulawesi, Indonesia. The regency was established on 14 December 2012, partitioned from the Banggai Islands Regency. It comprises the southern part of the Banggai Islands archipelago, including the main island of Banggai itself, the islands of Labobo and Bangkurung to the southwest of Banggai Island, and the numerous small Bokan Islands to the southeast; it does not include the larger island of Peleng to the north which forms the Banggai Islands Regency. The new Banggai Sea Regency covers a land area of 725.67 km2, and the districts now comprising the new Regency had a population of 62,183 at the 2010 Census and 70,435 at the 2020 Census; the official population estimate at mid-2023 was 73,100.
