The National Council of Provinces (NCOP) is the upper house of the Parliament of South Africa under the (post-apartheid) constitution which came into full effect in 1997. It replaced the former Senate, but is very similar to that body, and to many other upper houses of legislatures throughout the world, in that its purpose is to represent the governments of the provinces, rather than directly representing the people.
Cathlene Labuschagne is a South African politician serving as a permanent delegate to the National Council of the Provinces from the Western Cape since 2014. Labuschagne is a party member of the Democratic Alliance.
Jacobus Frederik "Jacques" Smalle is a South African politician from Limpopo who has been serving as a Member of the Limpopo Provincial Legislature since 2014, and previously from 2009 to 2010. Désirée van der Walt is a South African politician. She has been serving as a Member of the National Assembly of South Africa for the opposition Democratic Alliance (DA) since 2014. She previously held the post from 2004 to 2010. She represented the party in the Limpopo Provincial Legislature from 2010 to 2014. Van der Walt has held various leadership positions in the Democratic Alliance and the Shadow Cabinet.
Marcelle Frieda Maritz is a South African politician who has been serving as a Member of the Limpopo Provincial Legislature since 2019. She is a member of the Freedom Front Plus (FF+) and the party's provincial leader. She served as a municipal councillor of the Mogalakwena Local Municipality prior to her appointment to provincial legislature. Maritz was a member of the Democratic Alliance (DA) until 2015, when she resigned from the party after allegations of racism. The DA soon laid criminal charges regarding racism against her in 2019.

Ockert Stefanus "Okkie" Terblanche is a South African politician and retired police general serving as the Shadow Deputy Minister of Police since June 2019. He has been a Member of the National Assembly since May 2019. He represented the Western Cape in the National Council of Provinces (NCOP) from October 2015 to May 2019. Terblanche is a member of the Democratic Alliance (DA).
Thembinkosi Tevin Apleni is a South African politician who has been serving as a permanent delegate to the National Council of Provinces since May 2019. He is one of six permanent delegates from the Eastern Cape. Apleni is a member of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) and serves as the party's deputy provincial chairperson. He was previously the party's provincial secretary.
Carin Visser is a South African politician. Since 2019 she has been serving as a permanent delegate to the National Council of Provinces. She is a member of the North West provincial delegation. She was a Member of the National Assembly of South Africa from 2017 to 2018 and a Member of the North West Provincial Legislature from 2018 to 2019. She was also a municipal councillor of the Tswaing Local Municipality. Visser served the provincial chairperson of the Democratic Alliance (DA) from 2015 to 2020.

Thandi Gloria Mpambo-Sibhukwana was a South African educator and legislator. Simo Ezra Mfayela was a South African politician from KwaZulu-Natal who served as a permanent delegate to the National Council of Provinces from May 2019 until his death. He was the sole permanent representative of the Inkatha Freedom Party and the deputy provincial chairperson of the party. Mfayela was the son of the former senator Senzo Mfayela.
Stephanus Franszouis du Toit, known as Fanie du Toit, is a South African politician who has been serving as a permanent delegate to the National Council of Provinces since May 2019. Du Toit is a member of the North West provincial delegation and a party member of the Freedom Front Plus.
Lindiwe Christabola Bebee is a South African politician. She has been serving as a permanent delegate to the National Council of Provinces since May 2019. A member of the African National Congress, she is the whip of the KwaZulu-Natal provincial delegation. From May 2009 to May 2019, Bebee served as a Member of the KwaZulu-Natal Legislature.
Bertha Peace Mabe is a South African politician serving as a Member of the National Assembly of South Africa since February 2017. She previously held the post from May 2014 until August 2016. She served as a permanent delegate to the National Council of Provinces from Gauteng between May 2009 and April 2014. Mabe is a member of the African National Congress and the party's unsuccessful 2016 Mogale City mayoral candidate.
Sam Zandamela is a South African politician from Mpumalanga who has served as a permanent delegate to the National Council of Provinces since May 2019. A member of the Economic Freedom Fighters party, he serves as the party's deputy provincial chairperson. Zandamela served as a Member of the Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature from July 2018 to May 2019.
Timothy James Brauteseth is a South African forensic investigator and Democratic Alliance politician from KwaZulu-Natal who has served as a permanent delegate to the National Council of Provinces since May 2019. Brauteseth was a Member of the National Assembly from May 2014 until May 2019.
Bridget Staff Masango is a South African Democratic Alliance politician from Gauteng who has served as Shadow Minister of Social Development since October 2015. She has also been a Member of the National Assembly since October 2015. From May 2014 to October 2015, Masango served as a permanent delegate to the National Council of Provinces.
Dikgang Mathews Stock is a South African politician from the Northern Cape serving as a Member of the National Assembly of South Africa since 2019. Prior to his election to the National Assembly, he served as a permanent delegate to the National Council of Provinces from 2014 to 2019. Stock is a member of the African National Congress.
