Mosimanegare Kenneth Mmoiemang (born 5 March 1967) is a South African politician who has been a permanent delegate to the National Council of Provinces since May 2019. He is a member of the Northern Cape delegation. He was the provincial MEC for Cooperative Governance,Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs from 2009 to 2013 and the speaker of the Northern Cape Provincial Legislature from 2013 to 2019. Mmoiemang is a member of the African National Congress (ANC).
Mmoiemang was born on 5 March 1967. He matriculated from Batlharo-Tlhaping High School in 1984. He went on to study at the University of the Witwatersrand where he obtained a B.Proc and LLB degree in 1992 and 1994,respectively. He later fulfilled a Municipal Executive Management Development Programme course at the University of the Free State in 2005. Mmoiemang started his career by being admitted to the Cape Law Society as an attorney in 1998. [1]
In 1983,he became a UDF affiliate member of the Kuruman Youth Unity (KUYINI). He joined SANSCO in 1989 and became a member of the Johannesburg South African Communist Party (SACP) branch in 1990. Mmoiemang became the chairperson of SANSCO at the University of Witwatersrand in 1991 and the SASCO secretary at the university in 1993. He was a member of both Tswelelopele Initiative Board and the Association For Community and Rural Advancement between 1991 and 1992. [1]
Mmoiemang was elected deputy provincial chairperson of the ANC in 2008 and joined the Northern Cape Provincial Legislature on 6 May 2009. [2] Premier Hazel Jenkins appointed him MEC for Cooperative Governance,Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs. He assumed the office on 11 May. [3] He was elected speaker of the provincial legislature in June 2013,succeeding Boeboe van Wyk. [4] He was re-elected as speaker in May 2014. [5] Mmoiemang retired as deputy provincial chair of the ANC in October 2017.
Mmoiemang left the legislature in May 2019,as he was elected to the National Council of Provinces. He took office as an MP on 23 May. [6] On 24 June,he received his committee assignments. [7] He was elected Chairperson of the Transport,Public Service and Administration,Public Works and Infrastructure Select Committee on 26 June. [8]
Kopeng Obed Bapela is a South African politician who is currently serving as the Deputy Minister of Public Enterprises since 6 March 2023. Before that,he was Deputy Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs from 2014 to 2023. A member of the African National Congress (ANC),he has been a member of the National Assembly since 2002 and a deputy minister since 2010.
Sylvia Nomandla Bloem is a South African politician who is the current Northern Cape MEC for Transport and Safety Liaison. She was appointed to the post in June 2020. She has been a member of the Northern Cape Provincial Legislature since May 2019. From May 2019 to June 2020,she served as the Northern Cape MEC for Land Reform,Agriculture and Nature Conservation and Environmental Affairs. Bloem is a member of the African National Congress.
Bentley Gavin Vass is a South African politician who has been the Northern Cape MEC for Co-operative Governance,Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs since February 2018. He was sworn in as a Member of the Northern Cape Provincial Legislature in October 2017. Vass is a member of the African National Congress and the party's deputy provincial chairperson.
Alvin Botes is a South African African National Congress (ANC) politician from the Northern Cape who has been serving as the Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation since May 2019. He became a Member of the National Assembly of South Africa in February 2018. He was the Member of the Executive Council (MEC) for Social Development from 2009 to 2013 and the MEC for Co-operative Governance,Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs from 2013 to 2018. Botes served as a Member of the Northern Cape Provincial Legislature from 2009 to 2018.
Yvonne Nkwenkwezi "Pinky" Phosa is a South African politician who served as a Member of the National Assembly for the African National Congress from 2014 until 2019. She was the chairperson of parliament's Standing Committee on Appropriations from 2016 until 2019. Before her election to Parliament,she served in the Mpumalanga provincial government. Mmoloki Saviour Cwaile is a South African politician who served as the North West MEC for Cooperative Governance,Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs from November 2020 to August 2021. A member of the African National Congress,he has been a Member of the North West Provincial Legislature since February 2019. Cwaile had previously served as the chairperson of the Portfolio Committee on Premier,Finance,Cooperative Governance,Human Settlement and Traditional Affairs in the legislature.
Muntukayise Bhekuyise Ntuli was a South African politician. A member of the African National Congress,he served as a Member of the National Assembly of South Africa from 1999 to 2003,when he resigned amid fraud allegations. He was then elected to the KwaZulu-Natal Legislature in 2009. On 11 September 2019,Ntuli became the Member of the Executive Council for Transport,Community Safety &Liaison,replacing Mxolisi Kaunda,who was elected Mayor of the eThekwini Metropolitan Municipality. Ntuli died on 16 January 2021,from complications of COVID-19.

A member of the African National Congress,she previously served as the MEC for Economic,Small Business Development,Tourism &Environmental Affairs and as the MEC for Social Development.
Jacobus Frederick van Wyk,also sometimes referred to as Boeboe van Wyk,was a South African politician who was a member of the National Assembly from 1997 to 2004,member of the Executive Council in the Northern Cape government from 2004 to 2009,member of the Northern Cape Provincial Legislature from 2004 to 2013,speaker of the provincial legislature from 2009 to 2013,and mayor of the Nama Khoi Local Municipality from 2013 to 2016. Van Wyk was a member of the African National Congress.
Zola Mlenzana is a South African politician. A former member of the Congress of the People,he was elected as a Permanent Delegate to the National Council of Provinces from the Eastern Cape in 2009. In 2014 he resigned from COPE and rejoined the African National Congress. Mlenzana was elected to the National Assembly in 2019.
Motlalepula Ziphora Rosho is a South African politician. A member of the African National Congress,she was elected deputy speaker of the North West Provincial Legislature in 2010. In 2012 she was appointed as the Member of the Executive Council (MEC) for Economic Development,Environment,Conservation and Tourism in the North West Provincial Government. Rosho was discharged from the executive council in 2014 and then served in the provincial legislature as a committee chairperson until December 2018,when she returned to the executive as MEC for Local Government and Human Settlement. Rosho was appointed as MEC for Finance after the 2019 elections.

Dodovu is a member of the African National Congress and served as the party's Deputy Provincial Chairperson in the North West from 2011 to 2015.

He was elected to the National Council of Provinces as a permanent delegate from the Eastern Cape in 2009. From 2014 he was a member of the South African National Assembly.
