Andhra Pradesh is a state in the southern coastal region of India. It is the seventh-largest state with an area of 162,970 km2 (62,920 sq mi) and the tenth-most populous state with 49,577,103 inhabitants. It has shared borders with Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana and the Bay of Bengal. It has the second-longest coastline in India at about 974 km (605 mi). After existence as Andhra State and unified Andhra Pradesh, the state took its present form on 2 June 2014, when the new state of Telangana was formed through bifurcation. Amaravati is the capital of the state, with the largest city being Visakhapatnam. Water sharing disputes and asset division with Telangana are not yet resolved. Telugu, one of the classical languages of India used by the majority of people, is the first official language.
ETV Network is a network of Telugu language news and entertainment satellite television channels in India. It is based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It also had some non Telugu-language satellite television channels. All non-Telugu satellite television channels were acquired by Reliance Industries-owned TV18 for ₹2,053 crore in FY 2014–15 and later rebranded.
Andhra State was a state in India created in 1953 from the Telugu-speaking northern districts of Madras State. The state was made up of this two distinct cultural regions – Rayalaseema and Coastal Andhra. Andhra State did not include all Telugu-speaking areas, as it excluded some in Hyderabad State. Under the State Reorganisation Act of 1956, Andhra State was merged with the Telugu-speaking regions of Hyderabad State to form Andhra Pradesh.

Sunitha Upadrashta is an Indian playback singer and voice actor who primarily works in Telugu films. She is a recipient of nine Nandi Awards and two Filmfare Awards South in various categories. She also received a National Award from All India Radio under light music category when she was 15 years old. She received her first Nandi award in the year 1999 and bagged Nandi Awards in a row for the years 2002 to 2006 and again for the years 2010 to 2012. She was also honored with Lata Mangeshkar Best Singer Award for 2011 by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
NTV is an Indian Telugu-language news channel established by Tummala Narendra Choudary on 30 August 2007. The channel is named after the founder Narendra Choudary who also serves as its Chairman while his wife Tummala Rama Devi is the Managing Director. NTV's parent company is Rachana Television Pvt. Ltd (RTPL). RTPL also owns the devotional channel Bhakthi TV and women-focused channel Vanitha TV.
TV5 is an Indian Telugu-language 24-hour news channel. It is launched on 2 October 2007 by Shreya Broadcasting Pvt. Ltd. It is founded by B. R. Naidu of Chittoor. He is also the owner of hair product company, Nuzen Hair oil. Naidu is the chairman, and Bollineni Ravindranath is the Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief of the channel. TV5 is popular for its incisive business reportage.
Sakshi is an Indian Telugu-language media group. The group owns the daily newspaper Sakshi, 24-hour news channel Sakshi TV, and associated digital ventures. Its first asset, Sakshi newspaper, was launched on 23 March 2008 by Jagati Publications Ltd. owned by Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. Sakshi TV was launched on 1 March 2009, by Indira Television Ltd., also owned by Reddy. The group is currently run under the chairmanship of Y. S. Bharathi Reddy, wife of Jagan Mohan Reddy.

The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party is an Indian regional political party based in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Its president, Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, serves as the state's chief minister. It is currently the fifth largest party in the Lok Sabha with 22 seats.

They are predominantly found in North America, Europe, Australia, Caribbean, Gulf, Africa and other regions around the world. There are also few Telugus from other Indian states such as Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Odisha and Maharashtra, who live outside India. Telugus of Andhra Pradesh origin, living outside India are often referred as Non-resident Andhras (NRA). After the bifurcation of the United Andhra Pradesh, these are popularly referred as Non-resident Telugus.
10TV is an Indian Telugu-language 24-hour news channel focused on the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. It was launched on 16 March 2013 with the backing of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPM). The channel was funded through crowdfunding from various affiliated associations and unions of CPM. It was marketed as an independent channel with a co-operative type ownership, free from the influences of big businesses. In 2018, there was a change in the ownership of the channel. It was reportedly bought by business houses close to some politicians.

The state was made up of three distinct cultural regions of Telangana, Rayalaseema, and Coastal Andhra. Before the 1956 reorganisation, Telangana had been part of Hyderabad State ruled by Nizam of Hyderabad, whereas Rayalaseema and Coastal Andhra had been part of Andhra State, formerly a part of Madras Presidency ruled by British India.

He also serves as the chairman of Rachana Group of Companies which has interests in publishing, infrastructure development, advertising etc.
ETV Andhra Pradesh is an Indian Telugu-language 24-hour news channel focusing on the state of Andhra Pradesh. The channel was launched by the media conglomerate ETV Network owned by Ramoji Group on 28 December 2003 as ETV2. Along with its rival TV9 Telugu, it is the oldest 24-hour news channel in Telugu. In May 2014, after the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, the channel was renamed as ETV Andhra Pradesh, while the then recently launched ETV3 channel was renamed as ETV Telangana.
