Stephen Harper (born 30 April 1959) is a Canadian politician who served as the 22nd prime minister of Canada from 2006 to 2015. [1] He released his first non-fiction book in 2013, titled A Great Game: The Forgotten Leafs and the Rise of Professional Hockey , which concerns the history of professional ice hockey in Canada. [2]
Harper's second non-fiction book, Right Here, Right Now: Politics and Leadership in the Age of Disruption , was released in 2018. The book was a political work, drawing on his experience as prime minister. [3] He released his third book, Flags of Canada , in 2025. The book discusses the history of the various flags used by Canada throughout the country's history. [4]
Harper has also been the subject of an extensive body of literature.
