Parchin is an Iranian military complex, located about 30 kilometres (19 mi) southeast of Tehran. It is closely linked with the Khojir missile production complex.

Hassan Tehrani Moghaddam was an Iranian military officer in the IRGC Aerospace Forces and designer of Iran's ballistic missile project. He was the chief of the Army of the Guardians of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. He founded Iran's long-range missile program and sought the expertise and blueprint designs from North Korea in order to help develop Iran's missile technology. He designed the Shahab, Ghadr and Sejjil missiles with an operational range of more than 1,000–2,000 kilometres to target Israel. For these reasons he is regarded as the father of Iran's missile program. He was killed on 12 November 2011 in the Bid Kaneh explosion, at a military base belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps 25 miles west of Iran's capital, Tehran.
The 2015–16 Persian Gulf Pro League was the 33rd season of Iran's Football League and 15th as Persian Gulf Pro League since its establishment in 2001. Sepahan were the defending champions. The season featured 14 teams from the 2014–15 Persian Gulf Cup and two new teams promoted from the 2014–15 Azadegan League: Siah Jamegan and Esteghlal Ahvaz. The league started on 30 July 2015 and ended on 13 May 2016. Esteghlal Khuzestan won the Pro League title for the first time in their history. Mehdi Taremi of Persepolis was the top scorer with 16 goals.

Ali Zare Ghanatnowi is an Iranian film director, screenwriter, translator, cinema teacher, graphic designer, cameraman, and film producer. An active film-maker from 2000, he had been involved in over twenty films, including animations, shorts, and documentaries. Zare attained critical acclaim for directing Empty View (2017) and Dad's Fragile Doll (2013) which was awarded the best animation of International Open Film Festival (IOFF). His other film Empty View has won multiple international awards, including the best animation of Asians On Film. The music part in Empty View is made by Mohammadreza Aligholi. Empty view has been in the official selections for the best animation in Edmonton International Film Festival in Canada. This festival is among those confirmed by Oscar Academy that is held every year in Edmonton, Alberta. Ali Zare Ghanat Nowi, who had achieved this before by Dad's Fragile Doll being selected in Anima Mundi (event), now again reached this place by Empty View.
Mohsen Moeini is an Iranian author and director. His work mainly centers around his philosophical and historical preoccupations. As well as directing his own plays, he has directed plays by foreign authors such as Peter Handke and Rainer Werner Fassbinder whose works he staged in Iran for the first time. He has directed the first play to be staged in the Milad Tower.

The 2018 Iranian university protests were a series of protests, a spillover clash of the 2017–2018 Iranian protests, occurring as part of the wider Iranian Democracy Movement, by Iranian university students in support of labour, and teacher strikes, as well as protesting against the current situation of the country. The protests started on 4 December 2018, ahead of university day on 7 December, which is usually marked by protests.
Ahmad Eghtedari was an Iranian teacher, lawyer, writer, historian and geographer who was regarded as a prominent scholar in Persian Gulf studies. Historically, he was a descendant of Gerashi thanes. In his youth, he traveled on foot along the coasts of the Persian Gulf and Oman Sea and began mapping and documenting their topography.
Mostafa Karkhaneh is a former Iranian volleyball player and coach. He is known for his successful career as a coach, building the Iranian national volleyball team into an international contender. Throughout his career, he managed all national Iranian volleyball teams, including the youth, junior, and senior teams, helping many young players develop their skills.

Shahin Farhat is an Iranian musician, composer and music teacher. As one of the most famous composers of classical music in Iran, he has created numerous works based on common forms in Western music, such as: symphony, concerto, suite, cantata, prelude, fugue, symphonic poem, rhapsody and other traditional methods, which often add space. Romantic music is near and at the same time it has not been without the influence of Iranian music. About twenty symphonies of his works have been recorded and published so far, which is the most numerous among the works of Iranian composers, which is why he is referred to as the "Father of the Iranian Symphony".
Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Research and Self-Sufficiency Jihad Organization is a R&D unit institution established in 1993. According to IRGC, it was attacked in 2021. It has buildings based in Isfahan and Tehran.
The Qods Mohajer 10 is an Iranian UCAV unveiled in 2023. It has an operational range of 2000 km, its airframe has a visual resemblance to the MQ-9 Reaper. It has a 24 hour flight endurance ability and can carry up to 300 kg of cargo, including munitions and electronic equipments. It was officially unveiled in August 2023, in the presence of the Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and the Minister of Defense Brigadier-General Mohammad-Reza Gharaei Ashtiani.
