The Vinkovci Treasure or Cibalae Treasure is a hoard of late Roman silver plate, discovered in Vinkovci, Croatia at the end of March 2012. Consisting of 48 artifacts weighing a total of about 36 kilograms (79 lb), the hoard includes a variety of domestic utensils and tableware, some of which is elaborately decorated with various designs and depictions. The hoard appears to have been made locally, probably in a workshop in the town, and is thought to date to the late 4th century AD. Following its discovery during construction works in the centre of Vinkovci, it was put on public display in Vinkovci and at the Museum of Arts and Crafts in Zagreb prior to a programme of conservation funded by the Croatian government.

The Novska–Tovarnik railway, officially designated as the M104 railway, is a 185.4-kilometre (115.2 mi) long railway line in Croatia that connects Novska to the Serbian railway network east of Tovarnik, continuing to the city of Belgrade. It is electrified double-track railway. Its route follows the Sava river valley making it the primary railway line of Slavonia. It is an integral part of railway Pan-European Corridor X running from Salzburg and Ljubljana towards Skopje and Thessaloniki. It is electrified and double-tracked. The 2017–18 Croatian Football Cup was the twenty-seventh season of Croatia's football knockout competition. The defending champions were Rijeka, having won their fourth title the previous year by defeating Dinamo Zagreb in the final.

The 2018 Croatian Cup final between Dinamo Zagreb and Hajduk Split was played on 23 May 2018 at Stadion HNK Cibalia in Vinkovci. This was the first meeting of the two most popular Croatian clubs in the final since 2009. Dinamo Zagreb secured a domestic double after winning both the cup and the 2017–18 Croatian First Football League.
