Bosworth Mill Meadow is a 5.7 hectare biological Site of Special Scientific Interest north-west of Welford in Northamptonshire.^[1]^[2]

A Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) in Great Britain or an Area of Special Scientific Interest (ASSI) in the Isle of Man and Northern Ireland is a conservation designation denoting a protected area in the United Kingdom and Isle of Man. SSSI/ASSIs are the basic building block of site-based nature conservation legislation and most other legal nature/geological conservation designations in the United Kingdom are based upon them, including national nature reserves, Ramsar sites, Special Protection Areas, and Special Areas of Conservation. The acronym "SSSI" is often pronounced "triple-S I".

Welford is a village and civil parish in England, on the River Avon border between Northamptonshire and Leicestershire. At the 2011 census, the population was 1,043.

Northamptonshire, archaically known as the County of Northampton, is a county in the East Midlands of England. In 2015 it had a population of 723,000. The county is administered by Northamptonshire County Council and by seven non-metropolitan district councils. It is known as "The Rose of the Shires".

This hay meadow is traditionally managed. The main flora are crested dog's-tail and common knapweed, with meadow foxtail and great burnet in wet areas. Springs produce seepages which are rich in mosses and sedges. Dry upper slopes are species poor.^[3]

There is access from a footpath which runs through the western corner.

It is managed by the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire. The north-eastern end is part of the River Ise and Meadows Site of Special Scientific Interest.

Sudborough Green Lodge Meadows is a 13.6 hectare biological Site of Special Scientific Interest Northamptonshire. This is a 'key site' as defined by A Nature Conservation Review, although it is not listed in the book as it was first designated after its publication in 1977.

Titchmarsh Meadow is a 2.2 hectare biological Site of Special Scientific Interest north-east of Titchmarsh in Northamptonshire.
