Chanila Krishna Bhat Nandan (born 14 October 1963) is a cricket umpire and former cricketer from India. His playing career included three first-class matches for Karnataka,over a period from 1983 to 1988. He made his umpiring debut in 1999,and has since umpired in various Indian domestic competitions,including Ranji Trophy and Indian Premier League matches.
Born in Delhi,before making his first-class debut,Nandan played representative matches for Karnataka schools and under-22 teams,and also appeared in inter-university matches for Bangalore University. [1] A wicket-keeper,he made his Ranji Trophy debut in December 1983,playing the first match of the season against Hyderabad before being dropped. [2] On debut,he played solely as a batsman,with future Indian national team player Sadanand Viswanath keeping wicket. [3] Nandan's next first-class appearance came late in the 1984–85 season,in his team's Ranji semi-final against Delhi. Both of Karnataka's first-choice wicket-keepers,Sadanand Viswanath and Syed Kirmani,were unavailable for the match. Nandan recorded four dismissals (three catches and a stumping) in Delhi's only innings,with Karnataka eliminated on its first innings total. [4] His third and final Ranji appearance came in December 1988,when he played against Kerala,making 20 runs in the second innings (his highest first-class score). [5]
Nandan made his Ranji Trophy debut as an umpire during the 1999–2000 season,umpiring two matches between Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir (one in the main tournament,and one in the one-day equivalent). [6] [7] In December 2003,he umpired a women's One Day International (ODI) between India and New Zealand,which was his maiden ODI. [8] Beginning from the 2011–12 season,when the West Indies toured,Nandan has occasionally been a reserve umpire for India's home ODI series, [9] and on one occasion for a home Test,when England toured during the 2012–13 season. [10] At the 2014 Asia Cup in Bangladesh,he was the third umpire for four matches (including the final between Pakistan and Sri Lanka),his first series outside of India. [11] Nandan made his IPL umpiring debut during the tournament's 2013 edition,and has since also umpired in the 2014 and 2015 editions of the tournament,as well as the 2014 Champions League. [12] He was the fourth umpire for both the 2014 and 2015 IPL finals. [13] He stood in his first Twenty20 International match on 5 October 2015,in the game between India and South Africa. [14] He stood in his first One Day International match on 29 October 2016,in the game between India and New Zealand. [15]
In January 2018,he was named as one of the seventeen on-field umpires for the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. [16] He was eventually removed from the ICC International Panel for poor performance.
Sadanand Viswanath is a former Indian cricketer who played in 3 Tests and 22 ODIs,from 1985 to 1988. Currently,he is a first class umpire and coach. He was a part of the Indian squad which won the 1985 World Championship of Cricket.
Shikhar Dhawan was an Indian former cricketer. A left-handed opening batter,one of the greatest ODI batsmen for Indian cricket team for a decade and Delhi in domestic cricket. His batting average in ICC World Cups and Champion Trophies is 65.15,which is the highest among batters scoring at least 1000 runs in those tournaments. He was awarded the 'Player of the Tournament' in the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy and was the leading run scorer for India at the 2015 Cricket World Cup.
Karumanaseri Narayanaiyer Ananthapadmanabhan is an Indian cricket umpire and former first-class cricketer from the state of Kerala. He played for the India "A" national team in international cricket and for South Zone and Kerala in Indian domestic cricket. He is a former captain of Kerala state Ranji Trophy team. He now serves as an umpire at the first-class level and officiates in domestic cricket tournaments in India,including the Ranji Trophy and Indian Premier League. In August 2020,Ananthapadmanabhan was promoted to the International Panel of ICC Umpires.
Vinay Kumar is an Indian former cricketer and cricket commentator who has represented India at Test,One Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 levels. He is a right-arm medium fast bowler who played domestic cricket for Karnataka and also in the Indian Premier League for Royal Challengers Bangalore,Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders. He captained Karnataka to two consecutive Ranji Trophy titles in 2013–14 and 2014–15 seasons. In November 2018,he played in his 100th match in the Ranji Trophy. In August 2019,he moved from Karnataka to Puducherry,ahead of the 2019–20 Ranji Trophy season. During the first round of matches in the tournament,he took his 400th wicket in the Ranji Trophy. In February 2021,Kumar announced his retirement from all forms of the game. With India,he was a member of the team that won the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy.
Stuart Terence Roger Binny is an Indian former international cricketer,who had played One Day Internationals,Twenty20 Internationals,and Tests. He played for the Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League. On 30 August 2021,Binny announced his retirement from all formats of cricket.
Murali Vijay is a former Indian international cricketer. He was a right-handed opening batter and an occasional right-arm off break bowler. He has represented the Indian cricket team and played for Tamil Nadu in domestic first-class cricket. He was a member of the Indian team that won the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy.
Umeshkumar Tilak Yadav is an Indian cricketer who represented the Indian cricket team. He currently plays for Vidarbha in domestic cricket and Gujarat Titans in the Indian Premier League. He played 57 test matches for India and his fast-bowling contributed of India winning test matches particularly at home. Yadav was a member of the team that won the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy. He was the highest wicket-taker for India in the 2015 Cricket World Cup.

Shardul Narendra Thakur is an Indian international cricketer who plays for Mumbai in domestic cricket and has previously appeared for several Indian Premier League teams. He is a bowler who bats right-handed and bowls right arm medium pace. He was a part of the Indian squad which won the 2018 Asia Cup and the 2023 Asia Cup.

Virender Sharma is an Indian international umpire and former cricketer. He played in fifty first-class and forty List A matches for Himachal Pradesh between 1990 and 2006. Sharma stood as an umpire in the Twenty20 tour match between India A vs South Africans on 29 September 2015.
