Canadians in China consist mainly of expatriates and students from Canada to the People's Republic of China. As of 2011 [update] there are about 300,000 Canadians living in China. [1]
In February 2011, research from the Asia Pacific Foundation, conducted with Hong Kong Baptist University, suggests there are at least 295,000 Canadians in Hong Kong. Near 85% of Canadians in Hong Kong are Canadian-born, a figure higher than Canada itself (80.2%). [2] This represents the third largest community of Canadians, after Canada itself and the United States. A large portion of Canadians in Hong Kong are ethnic Chinese.
About 10% of Beijing's foreign population of 200,000 are from Canada (20,000). [3] The Canadian diaspora in Beijing is a young and well-educated community and is economically active. A significant number of them include Chinese Canadian returnees who emigrated to Canada in the early 1990s and later returned to China.
According to local official statistics, the numbers of Canadian citizens residing in Shanghai have increased significantly over the past ten years. [4] In 2000, the city reported 1,361 Canadian citizens living there, representing 2.3% of all foreign residents in the city. By the end of 2009, there are about 6,121 Canadian citizens living in Shanghai.
Shanghai's Canadian community consist mainly of English teachers, media workers, engineers, senior executives, small business owners and house wives as well as international students.

Canadian International School of Hong Kong is a Canadian school in Hong Kong.

Since 1980, the Head of Mission in Hong Kong has also served as Consul-General to Macau.
China–Ireland relations are interstate relations of China and Ireland. Ireland and China first established their bilateral foreign relations after they signed the Communique on the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations on 22 June 1979. This milestone opened the gate for trades, businesses, politics, education, and tourism between the two countries; both nations have gained enormous growth of economic values. Association of China and Mongolia International Schools is a non-profit association of international schools in eastern Asia and comprises over fifty international schools from China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and Mongolia. The Canadian diaspora is the group of Canadians living outside the borders of Canada. As of a 2010 report by the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada and The Canadian Expat Association, there were 2.8 million Canadian citizens abroad. For comparison, that is a larger population than six of the ten Canadian provinces. More than 9% of all Canadian citizens live outside of Canada. That compares to 1.7% of Americans, 2.6% of Chinese citizens, 3.3% of French citizens, 4.3% of Australians, 9% of British citizens, and 21.9% of New Zealanders.

Canada–Hong Kong relations refers to international relations between Canada and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China. Canada and Hong Kong share a legal and political history as parts of the former British Empire, and Canada continues to maintain strong relations with Hong Kong. The Canadian government strongly supports Hong Kong's autonomy under Chinese sovereignty in accordance with the "one country, two systems" principle as provided for in the Sino-British Joint Declaration and the Hong Kong Basic Law, Hong Kong's de facto constitution.

The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Beijing is the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Indonesia to the People's Republic of China. The embassy is concurrently accredited to Mongolia. Indonesia also has three consulate generals in Guangzhou, Hong Kong, dan Shanghai. The first Indonesian ambassador to China was Arnold Mononutu (1953–1955). The current ambassador, Djauhari Oratmangun, was appointed by President Joko Widodo on 20 February 2018.
