The Cap Roig Festival is a music and dance festival held in the Cap Roig Gardens, located in Calella de Palafrugell, Spain. [1] Since its inception in 2001, the festival has been celebrated annually, featuring a diverse lineup of national and international artists, such as Sting, Damien Rice and Andrea Bocelli. [2]
The festival takes place on an open-air stage with a capacity of 2,118 seats. [3] It is set within a 17-hectare natural area by the sea, adjacent to the gardens.
The construction of the castle and the gardens began in 1931. [4] It was designed and built by Nicolai Woevodsky and Dorothy Woevodsky. [5]
As of 2001, the first edition of the festival began. The 17th edition, held in 2017, surpassed the previous attendance record with 46,316 viewers, which sold out 20 of the 27 scheduled concerts. The event generates over 15 million euros in revenue and creates 220 full-time summer jobs. [6] . [7]

Palamós is located at the northern end of a large bay. The town is by-passed by the C31 which connects the coastal towns of the central Costa Brava with Girona. Play Tour is the debut concert tour headlined by Spanish singer Aitana to promote her debut album Spoiler. The tour began on June 22, 2019 in Murcia and has visited bullrings, parks, amphitheatres and arenas. An extension to the tour, title + Play Tour, was added on February 7, 2020 and was set to begin on May 23, 2020 in Valencia and to conclude on December 20 at the WiZink Center in Madrid comprising 37 concerts. However, on May 29, the singer announced the cancellation of the remaining tour stops. The Barcelona concert was recorded for the live album Play Tour: En Directo (2020).
