The Central Station (also known as the Sebring Fire Station) is a historic site in Sebring, Florida, United States. It is located at 301 North Mango Street. The architect was William J Heim and it was built in 1927. [2] It is an example of Art Deco style. [2] On August 14, 1989, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. [3]
The Freedom Tower is a building in Miami, Florida, designed by Schultze and Weaver. It is currently used as a contemporary art museum and a central office to different disciplines in the arts associated with Miami Dade College. It is located at 600 Biscayne Boulevard on the Wolfson Campus of Miami Dade College. On September 10, 1979, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. It was designated a U.S. National Historic Landmark on October 6, 2008, for its role in hosting services for processing Cubans fleeing to Florida. On April 18, 2012, the AIA's Florida Chapter placed the building on its list of Florida Architecture: 100 Years. 100 Places as the Freedom Tower / Formerly Miami News and Metropolis Building.
Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings Historic State Park is a Florida State Park and historic site located on the former homestead of Pulitzer Prize-winning Florida author Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings (1896-1953). The Kenilworth Lodge was an historic resort hotel located at 1610 Lakeview Drive in Sebring, Florida. Built in 1916 for George E. Sebring, the developer of the town of Sebring, it was continuously in use as a hotel since until it was closed in 2016 for fire code violations. It was designed by Bonfoey & Elliott of Tampa in the Mediterranean Revival style of architecture. It was built by contractor B. A. Cope.

Sebring is a train station in Sebring, Florida, United States. It is currently served by Amtrak, the national railroad passenger system. Located on East Center Avenue, the station was constructed in 1924 by the Seaboard Air Line Railway. Approaching the transfer of passenger services to Amtrak, the station was used by the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad for the Silver Meteor,Silver Star and the Palmland. The latter train ended in 1971, while the Silver Meteor and Silver Star remain operated by Amtrak to the present. Amtrak trains formerly using the station included the Floridian,Palmetto,Sunset Limited and the short-lived intrastate Tampa-Miami Silver Palm service.
