Chaetophora is a genus in the family Byrrhidae, the pill beetles. [1]
Hydrophilidae, also known colloquially as water scavenger beetles, is a family of beetles. Aquatic hydrophilids are notable for their long maxillary palps, which are longer than their antennae. Several of the former subfamilies of Hydrophilidae have recently been removed and elevated to family rank; Epimetopidae, Georissidae, Helophoridae, Hydrochidae, and Spercheidae. While the majority of hydrophilids are aquatic, a substantial number are also terrestrial, mostly belonging to the subfamily Sphaeridiinae.

Cytilus is a genus of pill beetles in the family Byrrhidae. There are about eight described species in Cytilus.
Sphenophorus melanocephalus is a species of beetle in the family Curculionidae found in North America. Because type specimens were unavailable, the name once was misused for a different species, Sphenophorus nubilus.
Selenophorus aequinoctialis is a species of ground beetle in the family Carabidae. It is found in North America and South America.
Simplocaria semistriata is a species of pill beetle in the family Byrrhidae. It is found in Europe and Northern Asia and North America.
