Chulluncani (possibly from Aymara chullunkhä ('ä' stands for a long 'a') icicle) [2] is a mountain in the Andes of Bolivia, about 5,000 metres (16,404 ft) high. It is located in the Potosí Department, Nor Lípez Province, Colcha "K" Municipality, Soniquera Canton. Chulluncani lies at the northwestern shore of Pastos Grandes Lake. [3]

Aymara language native language in South America

Aymara is an Aymaran language spoken by the Aymara people of the Andes. It is one of only a handful of Native American languages with over one million speakers. Aymara, along with Spanish, is one of the official languages of Bolivia and parts of Peru. It is also spoken, to a much lesser extent, by some communities in northern Chile, where it is a recognized minority language.

The Andes or Andean Mountains are the longest continental mountain range in the world, forming a continuous highland along the western edge of South America. This range is about 7,000 km (4,300 mi) long, about 200 to 700 km wide, and of an average height of about 4,000 m (13,000 ft). The Andes extend from north to south through seven South American countries: Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile and Argentina.

The capital is Sucre while the seat of government and financial center is located in La Paz. The largest city and principal industrial center is Santa Cruz de la Sierra, located on the Llanos Orientales a mostly flat region in the east of Bolivia.

Wila Lluxi mountain in Bolivia

Wila Lluxi is a mountain in the Andes, about 5,596 m (18,360 ft) high. It lies in the Cordillera Real of Bolivia in the La Paz Department, Los Andes Province, Batallas Municipality, Kirani Canton. It is situated on the western side of the Janq'u Quta valley next to the mountains Warawarani and Phaq'u Kiwuta. Other prominent mountains nearby are Janq'u Laya and Janq'u Uyu in the north, and Wila Lluxita and Mullu Apachita in the northeast, all of them higher than 5,000 m.

Phaq'u Kiwuta is a mountain in the Andes, about 5,589 m (18,337 ft) high. It is located in the Cordillera Real of Bolivia in the La Paz Department, Los Andes Province, Batallas Municipality, Kirani Canton. It is situated south-west of the mountain Wila Lluxi, south-east of Warawarani and north of a lake named Quta Thiya in some maps. Other prominent mountains nearby are Jisk'a Pata and Janq'u Uyu in the north, and Wila Lluxita and Mullu Apachita in the north-east, all of them higher than 5,000 m.

Molloko is an archaeological site in Peru. It is located in the Puno Region, Puno Province, Acora District, about 5 km south of the town of Acora, near the village of Molloco. The site was declared a National Cultural Heritage (Patrimonio Cultural) by the National Institute of Culture.

Tanqa Tanqa or Tanka Tanka is an archaeological site in Peru. It is located in the Puno Region, Chucuito Province, Zepita District. The site was declared a National Cultural Heritage (Patrimonio Cultural) of Peru.

Uyu Uyu is an archaeological site in Peru. It lies in the Arequipa Region, Caylloma Province, Yanque District, on the right bank of the Qullqa River.

Paraccra is an archaeological site in the Andes of Peru on a mountain of the same name. It is situated in the Arequipa Region, Caylloma Province, Sibayo District, near the Colca River. The site contains towers, round houses and black walls.

It is situated in the La Paz Department, Larecaja Province, Guanay Municipality, and in the Murillo Province, La Paz Municipality. Janq'u K'ark'a lies north-east of the mountain Kunturiri.

Sankayuni

Sankayuni is a mountain in the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia, about 4,646 metres (15,243 ft) high. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Murillo Province, La Paz Municipality. Sankayuni lies southeast of Janq'u K'ark'a, west of Ullumani and Chankuni and northeast of Kunturiri.

Tira Karka

Tira K'ark'a is a mountain in the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia, about 4,974 metres (16,319 ft) high. It lies in the La Paz Department, Los Andes Province, Batallas Municipality. Tira K'ark'a is situated at the lake Q'ara Quta south-west of the mountain Phaq'u Kiwuta.

Chiyar Tikhi

Ch'iyar T'ikhi is a mountain in the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia, about 5,092 metres (16,706 ft) high. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Los Andes Province, Batallas Municipality. Ch'iyar T'ikhi lies south-west of the mountain Jach'a Qullu, west of Qala T'uxu, north of Qullqi Chata and north-east of Taypi K'uchu. The rivers Pura Purani and Jayllawaya, both tributaries of Lake Titicaca, flow along its northern and southern slopes.

Qullqi Chata

Qullqi Chata is a 4,876-metre-high (15,997 ft) mountain in the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Los Andes Province, Batallas Municipality. Qullqi Chata lies south of the mountain Ch'iyar T'ikhi, west of Kimsa Chata and south-east of Taypi K'uchu. The river Jayllawaya, a tributary of Lake Titicaca, flows along its southern slope.

Jukumarini (Murillo)

Jukumarini is a 4,272-metre-high (14,016 ft) mountain in the Bolivian Andes. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Murillo Province, Palca Municipality, near the border with the Sud Yungas Province, Irupana Municipality. Jukumarini lies southeast of Illimani, northeast of the village of Jukumarini (Jucumarini). The peak northeast of it is named K'usill Willk'i.

Uyu K'uchu is a mountain in the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia, about 4,800 metres (15,748 ft) high. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Murillo Province, La Paz Municipality. Uyu K'uchu lies south of the mountain Sankayuni and north-east of the mountain Kunturiri.

Kusilluni

K'usilluni is a mountain in the eastern extensions of the Apolobamba mountain range in Bolivia, about 4,600 metres (15,092 ft) high. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Bautista Saavedra Province, Curva Municipality. K'usilluni lies northeast of the mountain Qutañani.

Chullkani mountain in Bolivia

Chullkani is a 5,032-metre-high (16,509 ft) volcano in the Cordillera Occidental in the Andes of Bolivia. It is located in the Oruro Department, Sajama Province, Turco Municipality. It lies near two lower peaks both named Wayna Chullunkhäni. The eastern one called Wayna Chullunkhäni lies at 18°18′30″S68°48′27″W, and the one northwest of Chullkani, also spelled Huayna Chuluncani, lies at 18°14′57″S68°51′22″W at a creek named Wayna Chullkani (Huayna Chullcani).

Wayna Chullunkhäni is a 4,736-metre-high (15,538 ft) mountain in the Cordillera Occidental in the Andes of Bolivia. It is located in the Oruro Department, Sajama Province, Turco Municipality.

Juqhun Karka mountain in Bolivia

Juqhun K'ark'a is a mountain in the western extensions of the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia which reaches a height of approximately 4,500 m (14,800 ft). It is located in the La Paz Department, Los Andes Province, Batallas Municipality. Juqhun K'ark'a lies southwest of Qullqi Chata and west of Laram Salla.
