Clontarf Township is a township in Swift County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 80 at the 2000 census.
Clontarf Township was organized in 1876, and named after Clontarf in Ireland. [3]
According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 33.9 square miles (88 km2), of which 33.8 square miles (88 km2) is land and 0.1 square miles (0.26 km2) (0.38%) is water.
As of the census [1] of 2000, there were 80 people, 32 households, and 22 families residing in the township. The population density was 2.4 inhabitants per square mile (0.93/km2). There were 35 housing units at an average density of 1.0 per square mile (0.39/km2). The racial makeup of the township was 98.75% White, and 1.25% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 5.00% of the population.
There were 32 households, out of which 31.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 59.4% were married couples living together, and 31.3% were non-families. 31.3% of all households were made up of individuals, and 18.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
