Close to Home is the debut full-length studio album by British rapper Aitch, released in 2022. The album features guest appearances from Mastermind, Ashanti, New Machine, Bakar, AJ Tracey and Ed Sheeran. The release has received generally favourable reviews from critics, who have noted the evolution of the rapper's style and persona as well as the diversity present in the individual tracks, but criticised the uneven quality of the songs.

According to the review aggregator Metacritic , Close to Home received "generally favorable reviews" based on a weighted average score of 67 out of 100 from six critic scores. [6] In NME , Fred Garratt-Stanley gave Close to Home four out of five stars, noting how Aitch's public persona has matured with this album. [14] Sister publications The Guardian and The Observer rated this album three out of five stars; in the former, critic Alexis Petridis situating the release in terms of contemporary British youth culture, but noting the unevenness of the production [12] and in the latter, Ammar Kalia praised the development of Aitch as a musician. [15] Writing for The Line of Best Fit, Wepea Buntugu scored Close to Home a seven out of 10 due to the variety of emotions and tones found on the music and noting the successful collaborations, but opining that "there are a number of extra levels to reach". [13] In The Daily Telegraph , Will Pritchard gave Close to Home four out of five stars, noting that "when [Aitch] takes a big swing, he can hit big", but pointing out that the album also has "duds". Ashanti Shequoiya Douglas-Haynes is an American singer, songwriter and actress. She was first discovered as a teenager and signed to Irv Gotti's Murder Inc. Records, an imprint of Def Jam Recordings in 2002. That same year, she was featured on Fat Joe's "What's Luv?" and Ja Rule's "Always on Time", both of which were two of the biggest hit songs of 2002. She became the first female artist to occupy the top two positions on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart simultaneously with "Foolish" and "What's Luv?" at numbers one and two, respectively.
Chapter II is the second studio album by American singer and songwriter Ashanti. It was released by Murder Inc. and Island Def Jam on July 1, 2003 in the United States. Ashanti reteamed with Murder Inc. head Irv Gotti and producer Chink Santana to work on the album. Chapter II features a guest appearance by rapper Ja Rule, Chink Santana, and Gunnz. Critical reception towards the album was generally mixed, with critics commending the album's autobiographical lyrics, and its fun yet light nature, while other critics felt Chapter II lacked creativity and personality and relied too heavily on the formula of her debut album (2002).

It was released through Capitol Records on 19 August 2022 as the fourth and final single from Aitch's debut studio album, Close to Home, along with the album. Aitch and Ed Sheeran wrote the song with producers Fraser T. Smith, LiTek, and WhyJay. The song is about and dedicated to one of Aitch's younger twin sisters, Gracie, who was diagnosed with Down syndrome. Aitch raps the two verses that are sandwiched in the middle of the chorus that Ed Sheeran sings three times.
