Coleophora borea is a moth of the family Coleophoridae. It is found in the United States, including Ohio.
The larvae feed on the seeds of Fallopia scandens . [2] They create a trivalved, tubular silken case.

Collectively known as case-bearers, casebearing moths or case moths, this family is represented on all continents, but the majority are found in temperate areas of the Northern Hemisphere.
