Colin Chisholm is a singer from Edinburgh. [1] He was a member of Bilbo [4] and had a UK #42 hit with them called "She's Gonna Win" [2] and provided background vocals for the Runrig album The Big Wheel , [5] including for the song "Hearthammer", which made #25 on the UK Singles Chart. [3]

Hearts Squad

Chisholm has never hidden his love for football, and is a supporter of Heart of Midlothian F.C. [1] In 1986, he lent his vocals to an updated version of "Hearts Song", which was attributed to Hearts Squad featuring Colin Chisholm and charted at #92 on the UK Singles Chart. [6]

The Voice UK

In 2013 Chisholm's daughter, Chloe, auditioned him for the second series of The Voice UK. [7] He passed his audition and defaulted to Team Tom, [8] but was eliminated in the battle rounds. [7]

Runrig was a Scottish Celtic rock band formed on the Isle of Skye in 1973. From its inception, the band's line-up included brothers and songwriters Rory MacDonald and Calum MacDonald (percussion). The line-up during most of the 1980s and 1990s also included Donnie Munro (vocals), Malcolm Jones (guitar), Iain Bayne (drums), and Pete Wishart (keyboards). Munro left the band in 1997 to pursue a career in politics and was replaced by Bruce Guthro. Wishart left in 2001, also to pursue a career in politics, and was replaced by Brian Hurren. The Mend were a British boy band consisting of members Kris Evans, Jay Kontzle and Craig Worsley. They originally auditioned for The X Factor in 2011 but failed to get any further than bootcamp, due to having a management deal. They went on to audition for Britain's Got Talent in 2012 and reached the semi-finals but, after the public vote was invoked, due to the judges' split decision, they failed to go through to the finals. They were then brought back by the judges for the final and finished in seventh place overall. They released their debut single "Where Were You" on 24 March 2013, independently.

Andrea Begley is a singer-songwriter from Pomeroy, Northern Ireland, who is most notable for winning the second series of the BBC talent search The Voice UK, beating the favourite to win, Leah McFall. She is the niece of Irish country music singer Philomena Begley.

Bilbo was a band from Edinburgh who used to be the support act for the Bay City Rollers, sharing the controversial Tam Paton as manager. Their 1978 single, She's Gonna Win, peaked at No. 42 on the UK Singles Chart.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Stevie McCrorie</span> Musical artist

Stevie McCrorie is a Scottish singer-songwriter. He is best known as a firefighter who won the fourth series of the BBC television singing competition The Voice UK in 2015, where he auditioned with Kodaline's "All I Want", with all four coaches turning their chairs for him. His debut single, "Lost Stars", was released the day following his win, peaking at number one on the Scottish Singles Chart and number six on the UK Singles Chart. After winning The Voice, he performed at T in The Park in 2015.
