Ruti Olajugbagbe, known professionally as Ruti, (born 20 September 1999) is an English singer-songwriter. After winning the seventh series of The Voice UK , they released their debut EP Racing Cars in 2019. [1]
In 2018, Olajugbagbe auditioned for The Voice UK , and joined Sir Tom Jones's team. [2] After winning the series, their winner's single "Dreams", a cover of The Cranberries song, reached number 1 on the UK iTunes Store, and debuted at number 14 on the UK Singles Chart. [3]

On 5 April 2019, Olajugbagbe released her debut extended play, Racing Cars, through Polydor. [4] They returned to the final of the eighth series of The Voice to perform the lead single, "Racing Cars". [5] Following the release of the EP, Olajugbagbe announced that they had been dropped from Polydor.
In September 2021, Olajugbagbe said that they had signed a Publishing deal with Sony Music Publishing. Two months later in November 2021, Olajugbagbe also announced on their Instagram Page that they had signed a new record deal with PMR Records, part of the Universal Music Group.

Daniel Alan David Jones is a British singer, songwriter and musician who is one of the lead vocalists and the lead guitarist for pop-rock band McFly. Jones's fellow band members are Tom Fletcher, Dougie Poynter, and Harry Judd (drums).
"Pure and Simple" is a song by British pop group Hear'Say, the winners of the UK version of Popstars. It was a cover of the original version recorded three years earlier by English-Dutch girl group Girl Thing, who were dropped from BMG before the song was given to Hear'Say. It was written by Pete Kirtley, Tim Hawes, and Betty Boo. The song was released on 12 March 2001 as the lead single from Hear'Say's debut studio album, Popstars (2001). The B-side is a cover of Simon & Garfunkel's "Bridge over Troubled Water".

The Voice UK is the British version of The Voice of Holland, a television talent series. The series was created by John de Mol and features four coaches looking for a talented new artist, with the intent that a potential auditionee could become a global superstar. The show's concept is simple; the auditionee walks on to the stage with the judges' backs turned to them, rendering looks, personalities, stage presence or dance routines irrelevant, and starts singing. If the judges like what they hear, they will turn around, indicating intent to coach them. If more than one coach turns round, power falls into the hands of the singer.
