The Voice UK is a British singing reality competition television series. Created by John de Mol and Roel van Velzen, it premiered on BBC One on 24 March 2012. Based on the original Dutch singing competition The Voice of Holland, and part of The Voice franchise, it has aired twelve series and aims to find currently unsigned singing talent contested by aspiring singers, drawn from public auditions. Presented by Emma Willis since 2014, it was previously presented by Holly Willoughby and Reggie Yates from 2012 to 2013 and Marvin Humes from 2014 to 2016. The winners receive a recording contract with Universal Music Group. Winners of each series have been: Leanne Mitchell, Andrea Begley, Jermain Jackman, Stevie McCrorie, Kevin Simm, Mo Adeniran, Ruti Olajugbagbe, Molly Hocking, Blessing Chitapa, Craig Eddie, Anthonia Edwards, Jen & Liv and AVA.

The show's concept is simple; the auditionee walks on to the stage with the judges' backs turned to them, rendering looks, personalities, stage presence or dance routines irrelevant, and starts singing. If the judges like what they hear, they will turn around, indicating intent to coach them. If more than one coach turns round, power falls into the hands of the singer. Once all four teams are complete, the live shows begin and the singers sing songs chosen for them by the coaches.
The X Factor is a British television music competition to find new singing talent. The eleventh series began airing on ITV on 30 August 2014 and finished on 14 December 2014. Dermot O'Leary presented his eighth series of the main show on ITV and Sarah-Jane Crawford presented spin-off show The Xtra Factor on ITV2, replacing Caroline Flack and Matt Richardson. Louis Walsh was the only judge from series 10 to return and was joined by former judges Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Simon Cowell, and new judge Mel B, who replaced Sharon Osbourne, Gary Barlow and Nicole Scherzinger. Former judge Tulisa returned as a guest judge for the final on 13 December due to Mel B being ill. The series also saw the lower age limit decreased from 16 to 14, as it was in series 4 and 5. This was Walsh's final series as a judge before returning in series 13. It was O'Leary's final series as presenter on the main show, as he announced on 27 March 2015 that he was leaving to pursue other projects, before returning in series 13. On 11 May, Crawford also confirmed via Twitter that she would leave her position as The Xtra Factor presenter.
The X Factor is a British television music competition to find new singing talent. The twelfth series began airing on ITV on 29 August 2015 and ended on 13 December 2015. The judges were Simon Cowell, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, who returned for their respective ninth and fifth series as judges, series 9 guest judge and former The Voice UK coach Rita Ora, and BBC Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw, with Grimshaw and Ora replacing Louis Walsh, the only judge who had been on the show from its inception in 2004, and Mel B. It was presented by Caroline Flack and Olly Murs, who had both previously co-presented spin-off show The Xtra Factor on ITV2 and replaced Dermot O'Leary, who left after eight series. Rochelle Humes and Melvin Odoom presented The Xtra Factor, replacing Sarah-Jane Crawford. Louisa Johnson was announced as the winner on 13 December 2015, making Ora the winning mentor.

Emma Willis and Marvin Humes returned as hosts, alongside coaches will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones, and Ricky Wilson. Kylie Minogue did not return because of her touring commitments, and was replaced by Rita Ora. On 4 April 2015, Stevie McCrorie was announced the winner of the season, making him the first winner to have received an all-chair turn in the blind auditions. It was also Ricky Wilson's first win as coach.

In addition, Sir Tom Jones did not return and was replaced by Paloma Faith, leaving will.i.am as the only coach remaining from the inaugural series.

The sixth series began airing on 7 January 2017, with Emma Willis hosting the main show, and Cel Spellman presenting online spin-off show The V Room. It is the first series to air on ITV since its move from BBC One. Of the four coaches from the previous series, only will.i.am returned, which marks his sixth series as a coach, Former coach Sir Tom Jones also returned to the show after a series hiatus, replacing Paloma Faith for his fifth season, and Jennifer Hudson and Gavin Rossdale joined as new coaches on the show, replacing Boy George and Ricky Wilson. Mo Adeniran won the competition, marking Jennifer Hudson's first and only win as a coach. Additionally, JHud became the first new coach to win on her first attempt, as well as, the first female coach to win a series of the show.
The Voice Kids is a British television music competition to find new singing talent. The first series began airing on 10 June 2017, being broadcast on a weekly basis on ITV. It is hosted by Emma Willis and the coaches are will.i.am, Pixie Lott and Danny Jones. In the premiere series, Jess Folley won the competition and Pixie Lott was the winning coach.

Sam Wilkinson won the competition and Danny Jones was the winning coach.

Blessing Annatoria Chitapa is a Zimbabwe-born singer from Russells Hall, Dudley. She won the ninth series of The Voice UK; the winner's single and her debut, a cover version of Robbie Williams' "Angels", charted at number 50 on the UK Singles Download Chart. She attended The Kingswinford School and Dudley College.

Danny Jones, Pixie Lott and will.i.am return as coaches, whilst on 7 February 2021, it was announced that Melanie C would replace Paloma Faith as a coach, who left after one series due to her pregnancy. Filming for the blind auditions began on 13 February 2021, whilst the final was pre-recorded on 13 March 2021, for which public voting was limited to fans in the auditorium. It was announced that the series would contain three episodes – two blind auditions and the final – aired over three consecutive nights, with the show concluding on 29 December.

It was the final series to feature Murs and Anne-Marie as coaches, following their axing from the show after six and three series as coaches, respectively.

Emma Willis returned to present the series, whilst will.i.am and Sir Tom Jones returned as coaches, along with The Voice Australia coach LeAnn Rimes, Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones, with the latter two serving as the programme's first duo coach.
