Collideascope, or Collideascope Digital Productions, was a Canadian animation studio and new media company based in Halifax, Nova Scotia from 1995 to 2009. [1] [2] [3] Founded by Michael-Andreas Kuttner and Steven Comeau, it was the largest animation studio in Atlantic Canada at 120 employees in 2007, [1] down from 130 at its peak in 2005. [2]
Notable original productions from Collideascope include the Gemini Award-winning Olliver's Adventures , one of the earliest animated television series made in Macromedia Flash, [4] and Delilah & Julius , both in association with Decode Entertainment and commissioning broadcaster Teletoon. [5] [6]
The company also handled animation service work, including for Johnny Test and its final project before shutting down, Speed Racer: The Next Generation . [2] [7]

Blue Sky Studios, Inc. was an American computer animation studio based in Greenwich, Connecticut. It was founded on February 22, 1987 by Chris Wedge, Michael Ferraro, Carl Ludwig, Alison Brown, David Brown, and Eugene Troubetzkoy after their employer, MAGI, one of the visual effects studios behind Tron, shut down. Using its in-house rendering software, the studio created visual effects for commercials and films before dedicating itself to animated film production. It produced 13 feature films, the first being Ice Age, released in 2002 by 20th Century Fox, and the final one being Spies in Disguise, released in 2019.

It premiered on the Canadian animation channel Teletoon. Delilah & Julius was produced by Decode Entertainment and Collideascope Digital Productions. 52 episodes were produced.
Theodore Tugboat is a Canadian children's television series about a tugboat named Theodore who lives in the Big Harbour with all of his friends. The show originated in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada as a co-production between the CBC, and the now defunct Cochran Entertainment, and was filmed on a model set using radio controlled tugboats, ships, and machinery. Production of the show ended in 2001, and its distribution rights were later sold to Classic Media. The show premiered in Canada on CBC Television, then went to PBS, was on Qubo in the United States, and has appeared in eighty different countries.

Iain Thomas Rankin is a Canadian politician who served as the 29th premier of Nova Scotia from February 23, 2021, to August 31, 2021. He serves in the Nova Scotia House of Assembly for the Nova Scotia Liberal Party, representing the electoral district of Timberlea-Prospect. Rankin was first elected in the 2013 Nova Scotia general election and was re-elected in the 2017 general election. On February 6, 2021, Rankin was announced the Leader of the Nova Scotia Liberal Party.
