10th Ave. Productions (French : 10e Ave Productions) is a Canadian animation studio, headed by producer Nancy Florence Savard. [1]

Contents

Launched in 1998 in Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures, [2] the company produced short films and television programs before releasing its first full-length animated feature, The Legend of Sarila (La Légende de Sarila), in 2013. [3]

The studio has since also released the films The Rooster of St. Victor (La Coq de St-Victor) in 2014, [4] Mission Kathmandu: The Adventures of Nelly and Simon (Nelly et Simon: Mission Yéti) in 2017, [5] Felix and the Treasure of Morgäa (Félix et le trésor de Morgäa) in 2021, [6] and Katak: The Brave Beluga (Katak, le brave béluga) in 2023. [7]

In 2022, Savard received the inaugural Prix Rock-Demers from the Festival international du film pour enfants de Montréal. [8]

Felix and the Treasure of Morgäa is a Canadian computer-animated adventure family film, directed by Nicola Lemay and released in 2021. The film centres on Felix, a 12-year-old boy who has been living with his mother on the Magdalen Islands since his father's failure to return from a voyage to find treasure on the Island of Eternal Night; when his mother goes off on vacation and leaves him and his infant sister, Mia, in the care of their aunt, he enlists the help of lighthouse keeper Tom to travel to the island in search of his father.

Mission Kathmandu: The Adventures of Nelly and Simon, also known as The Yeti Adventures and A Yeti Adventure, is a 2017 French-language Canadian 3D animated adventure comedy film directed by Nancy Florence Savard and Pierre Greco, from a screenplay by Greco and André Morency. It was the third film produced by 10th Ave. Productions, a film studio which Savard founded. The film received a limited theatrical release in Quebec on 23 February 2018.

Katak: The Brave Beluga is a Canadian animated film, directed by Christine Dallaire-Dupont and Nicola Lemay and released in 2023. The film centres on Katak, a young beluga living in the Saguenay Fjord who has a reputation as a late bloomer as he is still grey and has not turned white like most belugas his age; eager to prove his maturity and courage, he embarks on a quest to find his grandfather in the northern sea.
