PiP Animation Services Inc. is a Canadian full-service animation studio based in Ottawa. Its most recent work includes the CBC series Wandering Wenda and the PBS Kids series Cyberchase. Their mascot is a toucan.
Somewhere between 2000 and 2002, Pip did some work on the animated series Anne of Green Gables , in conjunction with Sullivan Entertainment's animation studio. Pip was specifically responsible for the digital backgrounds of certain episodes. [1]
Pip did work on a couple of shows for the Amberwood Productions studio. The first was the Katie and Orbie television program. They were responsible for the background colors and the unit background designs for the show. The studio also did work on their show Hoze Houndz. [1]
For Nelvana studios, Pip did work on the television series Maggie and the Ferocious Beast , which was broadcast on Nickelodeon and Teletoon. [1]
It also contributed to the series The Ripping Friends , which was a series from animator John Kricfalusi of Ren & Stimpy fame. [1] The studio also did some animation work for Ren & Stimpy "Adult Party Cartoon" as well.
In 2004, the company performed digital editing for a three commercial spot marketing campaign for the popular job-searching site, Monster.com. [2]
In 2006, a series that Pip had contributed to, Caillou , won an award for Best Animated Production in a TV Series, from the Canadian Awards for the Electronic and Animated Arts (CAEAA). [3]

Pip uses Adobe Photoshop, Painter and Illustrator for background work, but overall it uses the program Adobe Flash for its 2D animation. [1]
In 1999, Pip partnered with imX communications Inc., and Funbag Animation Studios Inc. to announce two new animation production companies: Helix Animation Inc. in Halifax, Nova Scotia and Helix Digital Inc. in Sydney, Nova Scotia. The Ren & Stimpy Show, commonly referred to as simply Ren & Stimpy, is an American animated television series created by Canadian animator John Kricfalusi for Nickelodeon. Originally produced by Spümcø, the series aired from August 11, 1991, to December 16, 1995, spanning a total of five seasons and 52 episodes. The series follows the misadventures of Ren Höek, an emotionally unstable and psychopathic chihuahua dog; and Stimpy, a good-natured and dimwitted Manx cat. It is the third of Nickelodeon's original animated series—known as "Nicktoons"—alongside Rugrats and Doug—and is considered to be one of the progenitor series of the brand.

Michael John Kricfalusi, known professionally as John K., is a Canadian illustrator and blogger, as well as a former animator and voice actor. He is the creator of the animated television series The Ren & Stimpy Show, which was highly influential on televised animation during the 1990s. From 1989 to 1992, he was heavily involved with the first two seasons of the show in virtually every aspect of its production, including providing the voice of Ren Höek and other characters. In 2009, he won the Inkpot Award.

Ren & Stimpy "Adult Party Cartoon" is an adult animated television series created by Canadian animator John Kricfalusi for the cable network Spike TV. The series was developed as an "extreme" revamp and spin-off of The Ren & Stimpy Show, which previously aired on the American cable network Nickelodeon, and was created to be a more extreme version of the original. The series premiered on June 26, 2003, and was removed from the network on July 24, after airing only three episodes; the remaining episodes were released on DVD. During its run, Adult Party Cartoon was heavily panned by critics, audiences and fans of the original series. It has been referred to as one of the worst animated series of all time.

He directed the film Pound Puppies and the Legend of Big Paw in 1988 and served as the supervising director for the animated series Spiral Zone. Additionally, he lent his voice to the character Ren Höek's screaming and cackling in the pilot episode of The Ren & Stimpy Show, which aired in the 1990s.
Lacewood Productions was a Canadian animation studio based in Ottawa, Ontario. It produced a television series, Katie and Orbie, as well as specials based on For Better or For Worse, and the 1990 feature The Nutcracker Prince. In 1997, Paragon Entertainment Corporation took over the studio due to debt reasons. Paragon eventually folded, with most of Lacewood's library and former assets being acquired by Amberwood Entertainment in 2000.
