Nanyang Sin-Chew Lianhe Zaobao,commonly abbreviated as Lianhe Zaobao,is the largest Singaporean Chinese-language newspaper with a daily circulation of about 136,900 as of 2021. Published by SPH Media,it was formed on 16 March 1983 as a result of a merger between the Singaporean editions of Nanyang Siang Pau and Sin Chew Jit Poh,two of Singapore's oldest Chinese newspapers.

Truth Be Told is a 2007 Singaporean drama film directed by Teo Eng Tiong and written by Lim Jen Nee,a husband-and-wife team. Love Story is a 2006 Hong Kong and Singaporean romantic drama film directed by Kelvin Tong. The film follows a romance novelist and his four different muses,and stars Allen Lin,Erica Lee,Evelyn Tan,Tracy Tan and Amanda Ling. Funded by Andy Lau's production company Focus Films as part of its Focus:First Cuts projects which was set up to encourage the region's promising directors,the film won Tong the Best Director award at the 2006 Singapore International Film Festival.
Liang Baozhu was a Singaporean actor,theatre and radio personnel who was best known for his leading role in the 1997 telemovie Grandpa's Bak Kut Teh (阿公肉骨茶),produced and written by theatre maestro Kuo Pao Kun.
