Flatirons Rush Soccer Club is a soccer club from Arvada, Colorado competing in the Mountain Division of USL League Two.

The club history dates back to 1997, when Club Columbine and Lakewood United Soccer Club announced that they were merging. [1] They are owned by Rush Sports, who also back three other USL2 sides - Cedar Stars Rush, Daytona Rush SC, Virginia Beach United. [2] [3]

The club was set to join USL League Two for the 2020 season, [4] however, the season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. [5] They will serve as the only Colorado-based team in the league, filling the gap left when the Colorado Rapids U-23 departed the league, following the 2018 PDL season. [2]

The 2020 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup was planned to be the 107th edition of the U.S. Open Cup, a knockout cup competition in American soccer. Atlanta United FC were the defending champions after defeating Minnesota United FC in the 2019 final. The competition was suspended on March 13, 2020, before the first round fixtures, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, and later canceled on August 17.
