Coprosma dumosa is a species of Coprosma, endemic to New Zealand. [2] [3] [4] [1]

Description

A small shrubby leafy bush with small leaves. Glabrous on the underside of the leaf, with short hairs on the branchlets. [3]

Range

Known from both the North Island, South Island, and Stewart Island. [3]

Habitat

Lowland to montane forests. [3]

Ecology

The mistletoe Korthalsella clavata uses Coprosma dumosa as a secondary host. [5]

Etymology

The specific name dumosa means 'bushy' in Latin. [3]

Taxonomy

Coprosoma dumosa may be identical to Coprosma tayloriae. [6] It also hybridizes with other Coprosma species. [7]
